"Someone left their inside b*** on the toilet!" July-Aug 2014 Done 3/03/2015

Ah the Mummy!!! I can't get enough of that bad boy. You're right too. Universal has loads of single rider options.

I've only eaten a Louie's once, but quite enjoyed it.

Ugh, the Beetlejuice show. I saw it once and hated it, lol. You said you "forced P to watch it". What did she think of it?

Wow, look at the crowds indeed. So glad I didn't have to deal with that.

I really think Disaster is great, but yeah, not an every visit type of thing.

Loving the Universal shots....but I can't believe you waited that long to hit Harry Potter area. I hope it wasn't too crazy busy for you.

The Mummy was fun! I enjoyed it. Louie's is yummy. I enjoyed it both times.

P didn't really enjoy it much, as she didn't know Beetlejuice or anything about him, and she didn't know the music much either. But she didn't beg to leave either, so we'll give her that! I liked it though.

Yep, summer crowds. Yucky. I don't really mind them though, but you have to do more planning around them!

Disaster was fun, I did like it.

Loving the Universal shots....but I can't believe you waited that long to hit Harry Potter area. I hope it wasn't too crazy busy for you.

I was going crazy waiting to get out there!

Finally, we were heading towards London and Diagon Alley. I seriously love that area!

After that... we left Diagon Alley. HORRIBLE! The others were not willing to wait for Escape from Gringotts, even though I suggested the single rider line. I guess P wouldn't have done that, but K would have. Nope, they were done. I figured I'd head out with them for a bit and then go back on my own.

We would do Men In Black.

IMG_5220 by disneyfreak0306, on Flickr

Q was thinking about trying it, so we had to put away all our bags. I had a big bag, so I had to get my own locker. Such a pain! I love that Disney lets you take bags with you.

After Men in Black, the others decided to leave the park and go outlet shopping. I decided to head back to Diagon on my own to ride Gringotts.

Love your pictures, we were there in November and US/IOA were so quiet, we rode everything without much wait time, DA was so awesome, hope you get on the Gringotts ride it was so fun and FJ is so great, my fave for sure. We thought going thru the bricks was so neat! We really liked Despicable Me also.

Gregorovitch does not have a shop in Diagon Alley. He is a wand maker from another area...so I was surprised to see his shop there too.

I am glad you stuck around to go back and try the ride. I can't wait to hear how long you waited.

Love all of your Universal pictures! I haven't been there in *eek* 20 years so it's fun to see the park now. When I went back in the 90's I had friends that worked at the ET ride, Jaws ride, the Beetlejuice show and in the 50's doo wop group (not sure if that group is still there?). So that was a lot of fun to see them all (and not have to wait in line for those rides). :) I'd love to get back and see the Harry Potter areas. Probably in a couple of years when my nephews are a little older. :)

Wow, I am so glad I didn't have those crowds to deal with on my visit. But wow, you still got some Amazon photos.

Boo to not waiting for Escape from Gringotts. I hope you get to ride.

I HATE THE UNIVERSAL LOCKERS!!!!! I understand the need on some rides (i.e. the big coasters), but there is no excuse not to have a pouch on the other rides.

I don't remember ever reading about it being there, and I know he's from where Krum is from... but it really bugged me too, so now I'm pretending that he may have had a shop there, it's just more people use Olivander's. Hagrid did say that he was the best wand maker, not the only one. Hee hee. I like to trick my mind. (Like today, I was picturing myself on a bench at Walt Disney World looking at Palm trees and eating a citrus swirl or something like that. Instead of being bundled up in layers and layers and it being -30 celcius.

I am a little jealous of all of you who can travel in the fall or at least in the off times. I'm limited to Spring Break, Summer and Christmas! (And I refuse to travel at Christmas, that's family time.)

Hee hee hee. Glad to help you see some things without waiting! Oh, the Harry Potter areas are just incredible. You'll have to make sure your nephews read the books and watch the movies.

Yucky crowds and waits, but still doable, and still better than not going at all! Those lockers are such a pain. I normally carry my camera bag, which is kinda big, but it goes on everything at Disney, even the roller coasters with inversions, both at DL and WDW. I don't understand why other parks don't allow it. I wrap it around my leg, I wear my glasses and I'm good.

I left the others sometime between 2 and 2:30 ish. I'm thinking 2:30-2:40 sometime. They were going to wander and decide if they'd do another ride before leaving to go shopping.

Here are some shots of what they did.

Me, I went straight to the lockers at Gringotts. I think the locker was good for 4-6 hours. I did single rider though, and I felt like I waited forever. The queue was so incredible boring. The single rider line sees nothing. It was a hallway. That's it. SO BORING! But a much better wait than had I gone through the regular line!

I took this next picture once I was outside again. At 3:56. So the single rider wait was about 1.5 hours. Ick. Still, I had no choice, I had to do it! No clue when I'd be back again, and I'm a real Potterhead. Hee hee hee

from raw-2109 by disneyfreak0306, on Flickr

I asked if I was allowed in the queue just to take pictures. They let me go in to the first circle just inside the doorway. That's it. Oh well, next time, maybe they'll do something like the castle walkthrough at Hogwarts.

Oh, here are a few cell pictures.

The line for a picture with the bus was too long, so I tried a selfie.

20140731_164056 by disneyfreak0306, on Flickr

I wanted a picture at 12 Grimmauld Place, but this woman sat there and just stayed there! She wouldn't get up. I guess she has no clue how important that actual stoop is. I decided to just snap a shot with the cell and head out.

20140731_163819 by disneyfreak0306, on Flickr

I got my first churro on the way out. At the parking lot area, and I guess it had been there a long while. It was not good. I think it was quite stale. I will have to get one again to see.

20140731_171642 by disneyfreak0306, on Flickr

We stopped on the way back to the hotel for some supper, and we were looking for a certain restaurant. I can't remember which one, but the GPS thought that there was one where there wasn't. There WAS another restaurant just there too, so we stopped and ate there. So basically, I had my first meal at a TGI Fridays. On a Thursday. LOL

I got a really good chicken sandwich with a Caesar salad. Really, really good food. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Q made fun of dead Dobby eyes from the tee shirt. We had a good laugh over it!

20140731_183825 by disneyfreak0306, on Flickr

This is the shirt. I'd taken a picture of it with my cell earlier.

20140731_165358 by disneyfreak0306, on Flickr

I went back for some marshmallows and the others went swimming. I really don't know what else we did! Oh well. It was a fun day, maybe a little shorter than I'd normally like, but I can't control the others. I could have taken a cab back on my own, but I wasn't in the mood for it.

Good to know about the single rider queue. I'm quite surprised at the setup if there's nothing to see. But WOW, 1.5 hours for single rider? That's crazy.

Ugh, that's so frustrating when people camp out in front of photo ops.

Glad you got on Gringotts, you didn't say what you thought, hope it was worth the wait for you. It had just opened the month you were there I believe so I can understand the long lines. Your pictures are great!

I totally missed Dobby! Dang it! Now I have to go back! :rotfl:
The day I was there the single rider line was longer than the regular one. I waited about 90 minutes too if I remember right. I was happy that the line moved fairly fast.

It was worth the wait once, or maybe another time, if it were in the regular line! I did enjoy it, but I do recall thinking it was kind of short when we I got off.

Crazy, but better than the full line. It was the first month it was open, plus summer, so expected. I know! GET OUTTA MY WAY! But I'm Canadian, and an Islander, so I'd likely not do that, unless it was my sister or brother. LOL

I found Dobby t-shirts and Dobby dolls, but walked away with 2 Dobby pins. The single rider was LONGER? ODD! I don't think I'd bother with SR then! ;)

Aug 1, 2014
We got up and headed to Riverside Mill for some breakfast. I only took my cell with me, so the pictures are not the greatest, but they totally document the moments for us memory lacking people!

P got cereal.

20140801_074935 by disneyfreak0306, on Flickr

And a chocolate croissant thing. None of the rest of us would want that.

20140801_074939 by disneyfreak0306, on Flickr

I think at some point during the trip they'd bought a mug for P for her bks and snacks, and her one cola/pop each day and one for K for his coffee and some pop/cola every once in a while. We found some green tea at Target for Q so she just got hot water.

K got some pancakes.

20140801_074944 by disneyfreak0306, on Flickr

I got French Toast.

20140801_074949 by disneyfreak0306, on Flickr

And Q likely got oatmeal. She normally got that, and it was incredibly boring to photograph.

Even just looking at the food pictures is giving me the itch to go back! Holy it is an addiction, isn't it? Good thing I have alternate plans to distract me from no Disney trip until at least March 2016.

Pretty calm morning...

20140801_081245 by disneyfreak0306, on Flickr

I really love staying some place with a body of water. It's so beautiful when it's that calm.

That Olaf photo spot was pretty cool. Sad I never did get a pic there. Just always a line.

It's so weird to think that the Hat will likely be gone when I get back.

Q loves the Teminator. I think it was one of my first big grown up movies. I remember jumping from one side of the couch to the other, and her telling me not to look for a few minutes, must have been the sex scene she was fast forwarding.
