In case there's a confusion between the side doors at Nintendo World, the door I mentioned in post #3233 is within the wall of the portal. It should be opened during early entry since not everyone can use the escalators. That entrance will lead you to the ground floor of SNW.

Found a picture online. The rectangular structure near the rim of the portal is the door.

Sorry for being repetitive. I've explained the location to my children and other relatives and they all missed it.

I saw a video of it a few weeks back. That particular video was meant to show that Universal still kept that in theme so the experiences between the two ways was as close to each other as they could so time savings or not it can at least still give people the experience.

When we last went to IOA and the Studios sometimes single rider was quicker than express pass for my husband which got me to thinking how well (or not well) was it working out in Epic since I know my husband will be riding a decent amount by himself. I know I can do Mario and should be able to do Donkey Kong

Ministry being a decent amount quicker would be a definite plus for us if I'm unable to ride that more than once.

I think my husband will enjoy Curse of the Werewolf as it's very similar to Time Traveler at Silver Dollar City at least in the ride mechanism which he really liked.


On our last trip VelociCoaster's single rider was only running on the weekend when they seemingly anticipated crowds to be higher. I know over at Disney Rock N Rollercoaster is one that single rider is notorious for being long and not necessarily saving time. Hopefully they either have Donkey Kong run more smoothly with single rider or at least we all figure out while it may have it it's not the best ride to use it on.

I love that you referenced Silver Dollar City! I grew up an hour from Branson and went there so many times! I still have a season pass and go whenever I visit my parents! I’ve never tried Time Traveler - I think it may be a lot more intense than werewolf, but now I may give it a shot!

I love that you referenced Silver Dollar City! I grew up an hour from Branson and went there so many times! I still have a season pass and go whenever I visit my parents! I’ve never tried Time Traveler - I think it may be a lot more intense than werewolf, but now I may give it a shot!

I rode Time Traveler with my SIL on Monday (I also have a SDC pass due to family in the area). It’s def more intense (and longer) than Werewolf. Not to mention having to walk down eleventy billion steps then back up three staircases in the hot and steamy queue (on an 80° day, not sure I’d try it deeper into the summer) to get to the loading area.

We were there in the month of July with it being 103-105 both days, if you're used to Midwest summers and the Ozarks..

I do think Time Traveler is more intense though.

Def used to Midwest summers. I live firmly in a part of the Midwest that is regularly hotter and more humid in August than Orlando is. I used to live in Orlando as well, so I do have a personal point of comparison! Orlando almost always had a breeze, even if slight, while the Midwest gives a new definition to the weather term “still”. It was relatively pleasant at SDC on Monday on the black asphalt walkways with the exception of the walled in area around Fire in the Hole and the queue for Time Traveler. I’d take Epic in August over SDC in August!

The black asphalt is the worst I tell ya radiates the heat right back at ya but at least when you went it wasn't too bad with that!
