out of bed at night? Seriously, what stops sober, sound asleep, grown people from rolling right out of bed at night? Okay, so it's not that serious but I would like to know. Anyone?

Training at an early age...you learn your limits, even while sleeping

It's just instinctive. How do we know to wake up and go the bathroom in the middle of the night? Our bodies just know our boundaries.

Get one of those guardy things they have for little kids. While it might not catch you, when you hit it you might wake up?

What? Sooooooo you're saying you DON'T fall out of bed nightly??? :confused3

I just remembered my aunt fell out of her bed one night and she really messed herself up. Sprained her thumb and her arm was black and blue all over the shoulder area. It was so bad that when she first showed me I didn't believe she got that from falling out of bed!! I thought she had been in a fight or something.

You see, mommau4, the key word in the question was SOBER.

Just don't wear satin pajamas when you have satin sheets or you WILL fall out of bed. Actually, slide out of bed. I speak from experience.

:rotfl: I've done this. but you know whats really fun? put on satin pajama pants and slide down your stairs on your butt. ;)

This was actually an accident, but it sure was fun. I was sitting at the top of the stairs and all of a sudden. WHOOSH.

What?! Are you saying all non-sober people roll off their beds??? I can say from experience that that is not always the case. I usually wake up in the exact same drool puddle I fell down - hhmm hmmm - layed down in. :confused3 In a non-sober state, my body may not realize that it's still on this planet, but it still knows it's boundries!

That Black furry fellow in my siggie keeps me from falling out of bed at night. He likes to hog the bed and I can't move once he sits on top of the blankets. I highly reccomend a dog as a bed rail :lmao: !!!
