Snow Race Check In

I thought it might be time for a snow race check in.

As of 11:00 a.m. on 1/28/04:

Syracuse, NY - 115.5 inches and counting

How about my neighbors in Rochester and Buffalo? How are you guys doing? How about you folks in Colorado? Michigan? Wisconsin? Vermont? Mass? Etc., Etc.?

I know we're no where near the amount you have. I think we've had about 30" or so. Where did you get your measurement from? Is there a website with snow totals?

Hey, that's pretty impressive for central New Jersey, isn't it?!

I got mine from our local ABC news affiliate, under their "weather" section. But then again, we are very proud of our snowfall up here. Syracuse is kind of like a relative. It's okay if we make fun of it, but we get really angry when an outsider does.

Yeah, it's been pretty snowy this year but not anything like last year. What's weird is that most of the snow we've gotten came in early December.

I have very fond memories of visiting friends in Auburn during Christmas time as a kid and spending all day outside in the snow. You sure do get a lot of it up there.
