SKECHERS 50% off Friends and family CODES!

Here is the autoreply I got. I checked my credit card and it looks like that amount is being held like it's pending. I can't search for pending transactions to confirm...does anyone know how on a Disney Visa? I'm going to call Skecher's customer service too.:mad:

After I got that 'your credit card didn't work' email, I re-sent the order (I had a really hard time getting the order to go through, so I did think it was my fault). They cancelled the second order, but the first order (where my cc didn't work) is pending. Grr.:headache:

You would need to call Disney Visa, that's what I did.
 
I got the same email and have been on hold with sketchers for over ten minutes now!!!!!!!!! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 

I was just told all order placed with that code are cancelled she was nasty the supervisor that I spoke with...FYI!!!!!!!!!!
 
Well Skechers must be getting an earful because I keep getting a busy signal. I called Disney Visa and they do show it as a pending charge. They only go into dispute once the card has actually been charged.
 
Interesting... I haven't received any emails (I actually placed 2 separate orders). But when I checked the order status, the status field is now blank on both orders. They'd better be notifying me soon.

Me too. I was really looking forward to some new shoes:confused3
 
I just called and got an automated person saying all staff were in a meeting!
 
I finally got someone on the phone and I got the "improper use of a code" thing, and I of course reminded the lady of the email saying it was insufficien funds. She said that was incorrect, I told her I was well aware of that and unhappy with the way this was being handled. I don't mind so much about the discount being retracted as I did the way they handled it. She said she understood. HAHA Of course she did. Anyway, they claim that the pending transaction will drop off and my card will not be charged...it should go off either today or Monday. So, we'll see.

The person I spoke to was very nice at least.
 
I just checked my order and it said it was cancelled and I should call a representative to find out why. :sad2:

I agree, if they had sent this email out to me and not the other one it wouldn't be an issue.:confused:
 
Does this mean they will cancel both my orders? I just got an email that the order from yesterday was canceled not the one the day before.
 
I placed mine on 2/27 i justed checked on the site and under status it is "blank"!

Buy hey, it say's Friends and Family (we are friends..........)

we'll see what happens!

I didn't try to use the discount code, but this is horrible. Exactly how to they know you're not a Friend or Family member?

Somewhat off topic -- I wore Sketchers for years (as did my DD). A few years back I started to have foot problems (heel spurs). It was to the point where I was about a week away from going for cortisone shots in my heel, when my doctor noticed I was wearing Sketchers. She told me they are the WORST sneakers to wear. Even though they look like they have a lot of padding, etc. there is no support whatsoever. She told me to switch to Nike or New Balance, which I did, and within 2 months I stopped having heel spurs and have not had any problems since. Needless to say DD is now allowed to wear them anymore either, although I did LOVE the designs they had. Also, my mom -- same issue, same response from her doctor when she asked.

Good luck in getting all of this resolved.
 
wow- Im glad I read back over this thread. I never even received a confirmation email and now it keeps giving me a error when I try to log in. oh well.. :confused3 last summer they had a similar code and I bought the kids shoes for school so why give out a friends and family code if you are not going to honor it..
 
Hi, I ordered 2 pairs of shoes on Thursday with the code 93 and put it on my credit card, got email confirmed then today (friday) got an email didnt go thru. Called my credit card company (since recently someone had made internet charges $2400 worth with our card) and they said call Skechers. I called the 800 number for skechers and the women rudely told me that I couldn't use the code and they canceled the order since it was for employees only! How bummed! Any one else have that problem?
 
Ok so my bank account has a pending charge, and it is blank on the sketchers site about what is going on with my order, and I haven't received any email...ugh I wish I could just cancel but that doesn't seem to be an option either...
 
When i placed my order on the 27th i received a confirmation e-mail and then i actually changed the size on a pair of sneakers that evening and got a confirmation - when i check on the site it says processing???????

wonder if anyone will get there order??????
