Tell me about the following restaurant's serving sizes. We'll be on the dining plan getting an appetizer, entree and dessert. Which places/meals would be a good bet for sharing?
Artist Pointe? (dinner)
Marrakesh? (lunch) :cheer2:
Le Cellier? (dinner) :cool1:
Kona Cafe? (breakfast) :Pinkbounc

If you are on the dining plan..why would you be sharing????

I don't want to bust a gut! :earseek: You know, from attempting to clean my plate! :teeth:

We shared meals at Spoodles, Jiko and Kona on the dining plan. Some people prefer not to :rotfl: out of the restaurants!

We had 2 appetizers, 1 entree and 2 dessert at Marrakesh and it was plenty.

Thanks for your replies! I do plan to split meals w/DH when I can. :rotfl: I Really don't want to end up wearing elastic waisted pants after our vacation! :rolleyes1 Anyone eaten at Artist Point or Le Cellier and shared a meal?

ITA! I am having pre-trip nightmares about weightgain!! Everything sounds so good I want to eat it all, but in 1/2 portions, PLEASE! I can guarantee that on any given night, one of my 2 DD will want to split. It's just too much food!

:flower:

My partner and I also plan on sharing many meals including lunch marrakesh and possibly dinner le cellier. When are good eaters but never eat app., entree, dessert per person. If need be we will order a extra app. or dessert but are sure there will be plenty. Have you seen some of the food porn pics :cheer2: Also, we want to make sure to still be able to fit into our clothes at the end of our 12 days. ;)

Our family of six has eaten at Le Cellier using the VKL vouchers and shared three meals between us. After we ate all that wonderful pretzel bread, we still couldn't finish the desserts since two of us barely eat.

We ate At Le Cellier last year and it was awesome.
We weren't on the dining plan and there were 4 adults so we got 1 appetizer and everyone got there own entree and desert. No one finished there meals. my dh came close but felt sick when he was done with his creme brulee.
they have awesome creme brulee.
i think you could definitly be completely satisfied with sharing and appetizer, entree and desert.

My mom and I frequently share meals. We were there in Jan. with the dining plan and we split meals at Spoodles and 50's Cafe. We should have split at Kona too! We did take leftovers (inc. desserts) back to our room, but with all the food included on the plan, we found ourselves throwing away most of the leftovers (it still hurts that I couldn't finish all my steak at Kona's- :rotfl: )

We're returning in Sept. and still plan on sharing some meals. Since we don't normally eat appies, entree, and dessert at dinner, we find sharing all 3 gives us plenty of food. Besides, I hate to waste food or eat 'til I'm stuffed. Has anyone shared at California Grill, or Coral Reef? Thoughts?

37 days and counting!

We've shared at Teppanyaki, Rainforest Cafe, and Brown Derby before without a problem. Just enough food to fill you without being stuffed.
