Best tip I can give you is for you to look at the resort map and see what you think yourself. Otherwise you will have many varying opinions.

If you want to be near the main pool and main buildings, you should book a preferred room and will be placed in Alligator Bayou. You'll be guaranteed to be close to those areas. If you'd prefer to be close to a bus stop, you can book any room type and request to be on the parking lot side which will put you a few steps closer to the bus stop, especially if you're in Magnolia Bend. We've always preferred the Magnolia Bend side for aesthetic reasons but the fairly new decor in AB is nice now too, so I wouldn't have any qualms about staying there.
