How about this? Can we meet at Parrot Cay at 12:00 noon on the Monday of our cruise to have a homeschool chat? Let's plan on just adults (Dads too if they want), but if kids want or need to come that would be ok too. Afterall, we are homeschoolers...we're probably used to that! The kids, if older could even sit at their own table and have their own "homeschool chat".

I have a feeling my kids will want to be doing other things and I think that will probably be the case with most kids. I know I wouldn't want to leave the kids area if I were them!

Let me know if you're interested. I'm sure we can talk more about it once we get on board too.

This sounds great. I will plan to be there, but I'm pretty sure my kids would rather be elsewhere.

Bummer, Chris would have been thrilled to go diving with you, but if no one else here wants to dive with him he'll just go on the DCL excursion. Any others in the group scuba dive?

My hubby is a diver and plans to do so in Costa Maya - he has been diving in Grand Cayman and Cozemel so wants to try somewhere new. I am sure he woudl like a dive buddy.

Tips are automatically charged to your on board account. They are $84 for the week (per person--including children.) You can go to guest services to adjust tips up or down and you can add cash to anyone's tip if you wish. The children's club are non-tipped positions.

We will know each other at the meet and greet by our tshirts. We will be wearing red shirts with an iron-on graphic on them. If you want the graphic, let me know your email and I will send it to you.

We have 4 other 11 year old boys that I know of as well as a 12 year old boy. ...several 11 year old girls, too.

I believe the homeschoolers are planning their own lunch. Read back a few pages to get the details.

What are you trying to post? I thought it was just 10 posts and then you could post links and pictures. Pictures must come from the internet though. I've had a really hard time with them. I have to put everything on photobucket or my blog first and then post them using their links.

I was going to post a picture, but at the bottom in the "rules" box, it says that I cannot post attachments. I thought it was 10 posts, but I have 20 now. Oh well.

So Riley,SUcal and minniescout all have divers in their groups and are some are signed up for the Grand Cayman Dive through DCL. My husband is signed up for the DCL dive as well, but his dive master told him he could go to Sunset House in Grand Cayman and do the dive for a lower cost, but he'd need a buddy or group to go with him. If either of the divers in your groups would like to do an on your own thing instead, please post and I'll try to get information on cost, etc. I didn't want to bother unless Chris could get a group/buddy. He isn't diving at Costa Maya because we've never been there so we're doing a family beach day instead. He is doing the Cozumel DCL dive excursion.

You can post a picture. Ten posts is all that is required. just click on the picture icon at the top of the posting window and put the required information in--voila--picture!

I can tell I am ready for vacation because work is getting tougher by the day. The FE's are about 90% done and the FE gifts about 50% done. The "save for packing" pile is getting bigger. That must mean we are getting closer

Ditto!! We have a big box for things we are getting together for the cruise ... sunscreen, chapstick, hooks for the shower so we can hang up wet bathing suits, a hanging shoe bag to hang on the bathroom door, etc!

Us too! I think I'm pulling out the suitcases this weekend and starting to officially pack.

I'm going to "officially" start packing, too. My carry on is getting really full, so I need to start stashing in the suitcase. I have the 27th and 28th to plan for also (although I will be in my room most of the time since I'm not part of the Gideons.)

On a side note, I just love coming to the Dis and seeing new posts to this thread. It really ramps up my excitement!!!
