We were there Sept. 28-Oct. 3, so missed the Triathalon. But the crowds were great! On the 28th, we rode Buzz 3 times in a row with no wait, not a wait at all, seriously! Then went to Indy speedway, and the CM let my car with princess dd and my dh and ds's car behind us go another round, for dd to "find her glass slipper" since she didn't in the first round :) We walked on to everything, and never used a FP our whole trip; most of the time, they weren't even available due to the low crowds. Oct 2 they were way up, though, and Oct. 3 (Monday) we had to leave MK, it was so crowded. Mind you, this was our second trip; first was on MLK weekend in 2004, so we are not used to crowds. Perhaps Oct 3 was not bad, but to us, it was very crowded. This was the beginning of a fall break for some states, which we didn't realize until that day. But for the beginning of our trip, though very hot and humid, the crowd levels were awsome.

Next trip, back to the winter months for us...slightly higher crowds, but much, much cooler!

the oct crowds could have been due to the food and wine festival--- the very end of our trip we will be hitting the very beginning of the festival this year-

and this is OT- but hockeybabe are the STARS -your- team???

We went Sept. 13 - 20 this past year and the crowds were very light - very few waits over 5 minutes. Soarin' was about 10 to 15 minutes.
