September 18th Wonder 3 Night Cruise

still no docs. Anyone else?

I am going on the Sept 18th cruise and booked thru the DVC and I have not received any docs yet.
My family in NC who did not go thru the DVC got theirs about 2 weeks ago.

We are also booked through DVC. Someone on this board once said that the DVC docs are one of the last to go out. I called them yesterday and they said we should get them 2 weeks before departure.

I hope they come soon. Does anyone know is they are coming Fed Ex or UPS or regular mail?
Thanks,
DJ

When we made our reservations for the cruise through DVC they told me the documents would arrive 7-10 days before the cruise. Oh, man, if I have to wait that long, it's gonna kill me!!! Well, I guess I'll survive, as long as we get on the ship!

Today I made our arrangements for transportation to Cocoa Beach and then to Beach Club Villas after the cruise. It's getting final now--almost there!

We're doing your trip - but the other way around! 4 days at WDW at the BCV, then the 3 day cruise. It's my birthday, too! Mine's the 19th - when is your daughters?

I havent visited your cruise thread for a month so I thought I had better remind you all
THERE WILL BE A SHORTAGE OF SHRIMP AND CREME BRULEE on your cruise:p :p :p :p :p

My daughter's birthday is the 16th. We leave the 17th for a day at Cocoa Beach, then the cruise, then we'll be at WDW for my birthday on the 23rd! I'll be celebrating mine over some Alaskan King crab claws at Fulton's Crab House....So much to look forward to.

My daughter is so excited about the trip that she wants her birthday party theme to be Disney Cruise/Carribean beach/Little Mermaid. We're having a party for her on the 13th. I have little sailor hats for the children and captain's hats for myself and husband. I'm making an Ariel cake and a Disney Cruise ship cake. We'll see how they turn out! When I get it all done, I'll post pictures. She says, however, that her real birthday party is going to be on the cruise. Hmm... not sure how to swing that. I know they'll bring her a little cake at dinner one night, and I'm sneaking decorations and gifts for the room. I hope that satisfies her expectations! I'll just tell her that the whole cruise for 3 days is her party, and I'm sure it will be!

Are you taking any children on the cruise, JuJu?

Malone - all these September babies! December is a great month to stay warm...:-)

Our tour group includes DH, DS(5), DS(4) and my Mom - what would that be, a DG?DMIL? hmmmm.

We're really excited, too. Jeff said I can do what ever I want on my birthday, I'm torn between swimming with dolphins and enjoying Atlantis - or booking a full-on spa day on the boat...
so many choices. I'm not sure how the kids are going to deal with the clubs so I'm hesitant to plan an excursion that would take me away from them for such an extended period of time.

After reading about the Comfort Suites, I'm thinking that may be a good way to go, as well.

Too bad that we don't share the same birthday! Now THAT could have made for a memory! I'm a bit of a Disney Princess myself, at the ripe old age of almost 39.

I called DCL and they told me our docs were sent out on Aug. 22nd. I haven't gotten them yet, but they said it would probably be today or tomorrow.

Is anyone else still waiting on their documents? I will feel a LOT better once we have them in hand.

booked thru expedia.

Westjones, I booked DVC too. If you are getting yours soon, maybe I will be as well! My family thinks I'm crazy for wanting these docs to come! If I didn't read these boards, I wouldn't be nearly as excited!!

woo hoo!! Since I'm a first time cruiser, I didn't know what to expect. They are in the cutest little brown package that looks like a treasure chest with travel stickers on it. Only Disney would make getting cruise documents magical! It's our anniversary today, too. When DH brought the mail in, he said, "Happy Anniversary" and handed me the package. Now it is really starting to seem real. And, we only have 22 days now!! Three weeks will fly by!

Just got ours too! Maybe all the DVC docs go out together. Now I can relax! Somehow seeing the documents make it all seem so much more real! I'm getting excited!

I want to go NOW!!!!!!!
We leave three weeks from today!!:bounce: :bounce:
We've got the docs, the plane tickets, all reservations are booked...all thats left is to pack and go.
Hope...Hope....Hope the next 3 weeks fly by.......

that haven't gotten our docs yet. Big bummer!

ez,
I'm sure they will come soon. If you want to, you could call Disney Cruise Line and ask when they were shipped and ask for a tracking number. Then you can go on the UPS website and see where your docs are right now. That is what I did. I knew they were coming today because of the UPS website.

Anyway, I am sure they will be here soon. I was just anxious! I can't wait. We are going to WDW for 4 nights first and I am very excited about that too. So 2 weeks from this coming Sunday we are on our way!!!!! (Not to mention that my twin babies will be turning 10 on the cruise, which is a big milestone).

I'm thrilled to learn we will get to see the new Golden Mickey's show! It makes it all the more special!

Westjones,
Another birthday celebration on the ship! Do you have a special celebration planned while onboard? I don't really know what to do since DD turning 6 insists that her "real" party isn't until she gets onboard.

To all the Sept 18th cruisers:
How do we go about meeting other DISers? I asked this question earlier on the board, but it got skipped over. Is there a set meeting place/time, or do the DISers on this board determine that?
Thanks,
Carrie

that Disney sends them to expedia and expedia sends them onto us. Last time I contacted Disney they wouldn't give me any info. I e-mailed expedia and they said to call them if I don't get them by Tuesday. From the beginning, expedia has said you will get them 2 weeks out, I was just hoping being so many others were getting them early we would too. We have some cruise birthdays that week too. Mine, and our friends twins are turning 19.
