Wow, I am finally caught up. I promised that I would not post on this thread until I had read all of it.
I am Corinna, DW to Graham (DH of dolphingirl47) and the DIS nut in the family. This will be our 4th Disney Cruise. Our first cruise was the 5 night special cruise on the Magic on September 1st and we both fell in love with cruising. It's nice to see some familiar names from this cruise :wave2: Nordkin and Boosgram.
I am a certified elementary school teacher and would be only to happy to help out with study hall or similar. I no longer teach. Instead I work for an international airline as a team leader. Sadly my employer flies neither to Barcelona nor to Florida. I have read some posts were people were suggesting buying return tickets and then no showing for the return part. I would like to ask you to please let the airline know once you have arrived at your destination that you won't be using the return portion. We do this all the time as well that we sell customers return fares as they are often cheaper than one ways. If the customer then cancels the return part of the ticket, we can sell that seat on or give it to somebody on a wait list. If the customer no shows, it is then too late to give the seat to somebody else and people who might be desperate to get on that flight will have missed out.
I am up for the FE Exchange either individual or as part of a team.

The WB will be my 6th Disney and will be my new wife's and her son's first. Just too good to pass up!:goodvibes My wife will celebrate her birthday on the cruise also. Dave,

You know Annette and I we will also be on the cruise. We were on the dvc cruise with you this year. Are you doing the dvc cruise next year? We are skipping it to do a 7 day with a group of disers from this years member cruise.

I need category help... Is it really important to have a window or balcony? We can save 3500.00 by going with 2 category 11 instead of 1 11 and 1 6. This is our first Disney cruise so I am not sure if it's worth the extra cost. We are trying to keep the cost down since the airfare will be high. I am worried about not having natural light in our rooms for 2 weeks.. :confused3

no its not this will be my fifth disney cruise four of them in cat 11. my first cruise was cat 5 yes it was nice but it was a short cruise a 7 night. i told my wife never again will we go on a short cruise this was in 2006. i did the aug 07 14 night repo in a cat 11 the aug 08 15 night repo in a cat 11. next year is a 12 night rccl cruise inside than in 2010 im on the 10 night med cat 11 than the 14 night repo after that in a cat 11. some people can afford a longer cruise and have a balcony i can only afford one or the other a short cruise with a balcony or a longer cruise being inside and i much rather have the longer cruise. in 2011 i will probaly go back on my word and go on a short cruise when the new ships come.

Thanks.. that is good to know. I would consider 7 night a long cruise..:) Considering the only cruise we have ever been on was 4 nights..

WELCOME Barry & Teresa & Andrew,

nice to meet you.
Have a great time on your Eastern next week:goodvibes
We are doing the Western on the 29th of this month:woohoo:

I agree, go and try to rebook on board, i know we have done that for a 7 day cruise and they did give us the OBC. It cant hurt to ask. I dont know if they do that for the longer cruises or not, but do ask:goodvibes

I've been on 8 cruises, only 2 were DCL. But I've only had a window once, that was last year's TA and I received a free upgrade. Otherwise I would have been inside then too. Yes it was nice to have the window, but not necessary. I'd much rather spend my money on excursions or Drinks of the Day!

Hi Amanda,

Yes we are doing the members cruise again, are you doing the bash cruise with the big group from mc08? We will be doing a 4 day with the kids in April, as we can't take them out of school for 2 weeks.

It will be nice to see both of you again!

this is totally a personal preference. I could sleep anywhere as long as it's on the Disney Magic (or Wonder). My dh on the other hand HATES inside cabins (though he sleeps better than ever). We spend very little time in our cabin--just sleeping and getting ready to eat!:rotfl2:

:welcome: Aboard to All the new Crew Mates !!!

Make sure you be adding the cruise banner to your signature line ...

This is an odd question but I need to ask. I am diet coke addict. Will there be problems getting diet coke on the cruise? I am concerned because I read some reviews where they ran out of some items (Mickey bars) on the last transatlantic. Diet coke is my coffee and I don't know what I would do 14 days without it. Plus I am concerned it would be replaced with a European version of it.. (Nothing against European coke just not sure if it taste's like ours)

I did the 15 day EB Panama and they didn't run out of anything that I am aware of - Mickey bars or otherwise. Also Diet Coke tastes exactly the same world wide, the only difference is that some places call it Coke Light. You'll be fine :)
