OK Ill warn you I've done the skim reading again so appologies if I've missed anything!
UK Folks - Anyone out there with hayfever - has it been like 200% worse today or what? I haven't taken tablets for 2 years and now I'm having to send Dan out for some.
Love all the "meet" and "wedding" stories/photos!
I wended up rebooking and taking the hit a few months back as didn't want to risk the FSC.
As said by others I think DCL stopped charging FSC in December 2008
This is what I'm going to do from now on! Can't believe we didn't bother last time!
Oh my God I love the stitch pin! Need to check if I have it! - I know its bad but I have no idea what pins I have any more! Got excited over a trade in WDW in 2008 only to find I already had 2 of the same pin!
I'm with you on the not dressing up really! I don't like trousers though so have to do the dress thing - with cycling shorts underneath knowing me lol!

I am still catching up on postsfrom our trip to Disneyland, last week. It has been 20 years since we did Disneyland in just one day. We used our Give a Day coupons and everyone picked two rides that were "must do" for the six of us.
Prior to leaving, I contacted Disney Cruise Line and tried to get my fuel supplement worked out. I spoke to a supervisor, but she advised that all she could do was re-shop (rebook our cruise), this would save us $84, but as the rate for our cabin had gone up $70 each, I would lose $140 (total fuel supplement was $224). So much for getting up early October 2008 to book our cruise at a great rate. I explained that I understood that some people got the whole supplement back as an onboard credit, she said all they could do is rebook us and that if I could find out who that agent was that authorized the onboard credit, she would talk to them and follow the same procedure.
If someone got the whole fuel supplement back, please let me know who you spoke to. The supervisor put me on hold and came back saying that she had checked with other agents and that is what everyone is doing, re-shopping (rebooking) the cruise rate, and they knew nothing about a full onboard credit for the feul supplement.
I will say that this fuel supplement issue has soured me on how Disney Cruise Line handles their customers. I am trying not to let $140bring me down, considering the overall cost of the trip.
While on vacation (we're Silver) we were able to book our shore excursions and Palo dinner, without any problems.
On our Disneyland trip, we visited my brother in Manteca (central California) and brother-in-law in Ventura (southern California) and it was a two day drive from Oregon to Disneyland. The weather was great. We saw Toy Story 3 at the Downtown Disney theater and thought it was great. My grandchildren loved it(age 4 and 6).
I wended up rebooking and taking the hit a few months back as didn't want to risk the FSC.
Hey guys....we booked this cruise in December 2008 and I do not see anything on our reservation about a fuel surcharge....is it worked into the price of the cruise or is it stated as a line item?
Thanks!
Tom

Ok I must have missed something skimming posts - what are we talking about - inquiring minds want to know!
I always carry an extra fold flat duffle bag with us as a back up for suitcases - especially if we are not using all out allotment just in case!
This is what I'm going to do from now on! Can't believe we didn't bother last time!
For anyone wanting to see which pins I have to trade, here they are - let me know if you want to trade any. I have duplicates of some of them.

Everybody seems to love dressing up for formal and semi. I guess I am in the minority - I hope I don't offend when I show up in nice pants! I am looking forward to seeing all the dresses!
Erik - maybe you want to get married on Castaway! You would have tons of friends there and it would make for a great party!!! Or the middle of the ocean would be cool - I am up for a wedding!
