I don’t have any trips planned as cancer is ruling my life these days.
My cousin has a trip at the end of the month so I will ask him about his experience and especially the food!

I moderately have notriphobia. I like to travel and get a little uneasy when the time between trips is more than six months. In fact, I just booked a last-minute trip to WDW because of it. ;)

I love seeing photos of people's trips on social media but I also get jealous to where I'm like "Why can't I be there too?". I love traveling and wish I could go everywhere but unfortunately that is not possible. In less than 2 weeks I'm off to Disneyland which is super exciting. Haven't been in 6 years.

After that, don't really have anything major booked. I am seriously considering doing a Hong Kong -> Shanghai -> Tokyo trip in 2026 though.

My brother and SIL just invited us to their condo in OCMD for a long weekend in October, so I have that to anticipate, but it's not a "real" trip. I am desperate to travel again and have agreed to go to Nashville out of desperation. DH is big into country music. I'm not, but I'm sure we can find enough to do to keep me happy. He will be a kid in a candy store.

I'd prefer a trip to the Bourbon Trail, but since the hotel my DH wants to stay in is fully booked, he doesn't want to go this year.

I don’t think I have notriphobia. I do have a few trips in the planning stages though. Seattle in 2026. WDW in 2027/2028. And Disneyland in 2030 for the 75th. I generally only go on one trip a year and I am trying to visit places I’ve never been. But of course have to go to Disneyland every 5 years (or more often)

I am definitely feeling notriphobia right now. I have nothing planned because the last 2 trips my husband complained about what was planned (just dinner and which park) so I told him he had to plan the next trip. He's not a planner and just put our remaining DVC points for this year and all of next year's points up for rent. I really want to plan a trip but I'm also stubborn enough to keep my word about him planning the next one.

I voted moderate as I even though I don’t always have a trip booked I always am trip plannning in my head. I think I have gotten worse the last few years since we had a cancer scare with DH almost 2 years ago and I am getting closer to the age to the age my mom got sick and passed away. Like a previous poster, I also lost my mom from ALS . She was 63 but started getting sick at 60. I am now 55 and feeling I need to do things while I can.

We just got back from Japan in June and I recently booked a Greece cruise next September for our 25th anniversary. No other trips planned.

If you like museums, go to the Parthenon. My daughter is going to take me to non-touristy things the next time I get a chance to visit her.

I guess moderately. Although it is more the husband than me and it's cruises. We currently have 3 booked...1 this year and 2 next and we've already taken 3 this year. The husband is also constantly showing me other cruises to book. We had like 4 booked for next year and I made him narrow down to the 2 and cancel the other 2.

As for Disney, we live 12 mins from DAK so we do day visits or 1-2 night stays with our DVC which we mostly book last minute.

Also, our 26 year old twin DDs are in a bit of a way. Both single and going through some weird phase. They are doing all these trips. Not relaxing type trips but new experience type things. Like cage diving to look at shark. Or flying to Ohio to tailgate an Ohio State game (none of us went to Ohio State, by the way).

I have had the worst 2 year(maybe 3.5 actually) period of my entire life. Though there are a couple very close runner ups that preceded this terrible period so, crap, maybe its been a really bad 25 years with short periods of not too bad times mixed in (but past 2 years have been the worst as a whole). I am also 52 now and I am exhausted and just want 'chill' and no planning or running around. No excursions or experiences. Just a boring normal time.

I’m out the door tonight on a last minute-ish trip. My youngest son booked it for me and I didn’t know when I was leaving until Friday.
I’m fine with long term planning and none at all.

I definitely suffer from severe notriphobia, and totally agree that it should be a real thing!

For me, trips and holidays are the main (sometimes only) thing I really look forward to on a daily basis, and they're certainly what get me through work. Not only that but planning (both pre and post booking) a trip is something that I really enjoy and it also keeps me busy and productive.

I have a trip booked to Hong Kong and Shanghai in November this year (only 2 months to go 🥳 ) and I've already planned (but not booked yet) a trip to WDW in April/May 2026. And I'm already planning out what I'll be doing after that.

We always have a trip planned. I live to travel and go to WDW so it’s a variety of trips.

Trip 1: We have a cruise planned for NYE followed by a week at WDW. We bought APs in April.

Trip 2: We have a WDW trip planned in July for the Nation’s Semiquincentennial. We’ll be at WDW for July 4th.

Trip 3: We are at the planning stage of going to Oktoberfest in Munich in September 2026 and then sailing back home on a repositioning cruise from Barcelona, Spain to Miami. We might stop for a couple of WDW days but we’re probably looking at 3-4 weeks away from my pets already.

No, I don’t have it. I am ok whether or not a “next trip” is on the horizon.
