Hello everyone! Is there room for 4 more in this group? Traveling will be my DH, myself, my sister and her husband. (DH and myself will be doing the last Med cruise as well.) We've been on 12 Disney cruises, and did the WBTA in 2007 so we know what a great time this cruise will be. DH and myself are retired and live in FL so we get a lot of company and we travel when we can. DS and DBIL are working folks who live in MD. Our traveling and company visits will be wrapping up soon so we'll have some time to dedicate to getting ready to join you in Barcelona. This is going to be so much fun!

Hi and welcome. Page 1 has loads of information about whats going on etc. I was also on the WBTA in 2007 so might recognise each other. I'm travelling this time with my DBF Dan whose never cruised before so this is going to be an experience for him. My parents and my sister & hubby are still hoping to join us (althought they haven't sorted out their leave yet and can't till nearer the date so waiting on this). Bye for now

There is at least 1 Cat 12 available to book for a party of 4 on our cruise at the moment. It is not at a super low price though, at $3698, it's only $60 less than a Cat 11 (which a party of 4 would get upgraded to at a minimum automatically). But it's the first time I've seen a 12 available in quite awhile.

Very weird! I have a funny feeling we wont be getting the massive discounts seen on the EBTA

I read a post that said DCL ran out of Mickey bars in Europe!! Say it ain't so :( For those of you that have done the WBTA before, did they run out and did they get more in time for that cruise?

Yeah in 2007 they did. We had pirate bars instead (pirate shaped) then when we got to Castaway they brought on Mickey Bars and I think everyone had one with dinner lol! They can't import them in Europe they have to go with local food so had to resort to the pirate ones.

I think the Dis does a little regular maintenance at that time. I also got stuck doing an edit. Took about 10 or more minutes to post!!!

They did not have "Mickey Bars" on the WBTA in 2007. We were told that when they received them they were cracked and could not serve them. However, they had a fake Mickey Bar that was not chocolate covered and was "Ok" On our last night we had some of the "Mickey Bars" at early dining becasue the Wonder left them for us at Castaway Cay. However, late seating did not get them (according to the other folks we were travelling with).

I will not be surprised if they do not have any. I will be disappointed and Dh, DBil and Dsis will no doubt go through some sort of withdrawls. However, with all the booze tasting we have signed up for, I feel comfortable in saying they are likely to forget about the Mickey Bars and possibly their own names.:rotfl2:

We got them on last seating! Maybe we just got lucky as we were on a table with a family who had won a cruise so maybe it was for the pr aspect lol!

From what I gather they weren't very good. I would rather have a really good quality choc covered bar ice cream like a Magnum or something than an inferior one just because it is pirate themed or something.

What?! It posted again!! :confused3 :rotfl2: Oh dear. I guess I am stuck! I wonder if I could go back about 15 years? Hmmm.....

I think you are just being reminded to spit our anything that tastes good!!!!!:lmao: Is this something you NEED to know???;)

Maybe it's a sign that I really should try to loose some weight before our cruise instead of dreaming about it! :rotfl:

I have got to stop sleeping - i think we are about 10 to 12 hours out of sync with the US so when i go to bed you all start writing.

anyway:

Kimberly - your lists are amazing.

PJ - having that info on ical could be great - i am entering it bit by bit however at the rate i am currently going i may never finish.

Dining reservations with kids.... wow normally i have it all planned and booked at the six month window and this time i haven't even thought about it. perhaps we wont need to eat after two weeks of Magic food. however in the past we did take the kids to Jiko and they really enjoyed it.
Last time we were there you couldn't make reservations for T-Rex - has that changed?

So much to do and so little time.....

:)michelle

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
Dh is from New Orleans.... he sucked me into those evil things long ago.
At a meeting a few days ago, one of the ladies said "If it tastes good...spit it out!":rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Ann:yay:

Love it, and so true, can't think of anything that tastes really good that is healthy, maybe a mango?

Good onya mate!! G'day!! :thumbsup2

The beignets are also some of the messiest things you will ever try to eat too!!! That icing sugar gets everywhere.:rotfl2:

:lmao::lmao::lmao: I'm hearing you but not listening!!!!!!:rotfl2:

Love your slang, keep it up mate!
Messy, you want to see my 2 DD's at 5 and 6 eating them!:scared1:
I with you, lalalalalala, I'm not listening!:rolleyes1

Nice! Can you tell that the server kept getting hung up when I was trying to post that?! Geez! Sorry guys!

Thought it was Groundhog Day over there! :rotfl:

What do they have in Disneyland Paris?

Nah, I reckon wait till after, why do all that work now when you have to do it again later anyway! :lmao: I'm hoping to eat on the cruise and walk it off in my 12 days at WDW, no beignets! OK, maybe a couple.;)

Kimberley's list are pretty special!
Not sure about T-rex, we are going to a friends birthday party there, kids party. We're meeting my best friend from Australia in WDW and it's her son's birthday.

Thanks....they are colorful, I will say that.

Regarding, Groundhog Day, Ha Ha!

I'm sure you will walk and sweat off a stone when you get to WDW. (Am I correct in saying stone? I'm thinking that was the term I learned on "You are What You Eat" on BBC America television.) :confused3 However, in Australia, you may not use that term either. ????

I think they will use the stone term. I always convert the US lbs to stones, but unless it is 140lbs, then the maths do get a little difficult!!!! (10 stones for those who don't know)

Over here unfortunately they also use Kg's.:sad2: So go to the doctors and they weigh you in Kg's and I have to convert it then. I didn't like the answer last time either!!!!!:headache:
