I also remember hearing about the 2007 WBTA being out of Mickey Bars. Since we'll be the last cruise coming out of Europe, I wouldn't be surprised if specialty items like this which likely still have to be sourced by an American company will be low in inventory. So we should all be ordering our Mickey Bars on Night 1!!!

Last night i went to see a local theatre production of Disneys Beauty and the Beast

I love the show and saw the London production 9 times in the west end and the proffesional touring production 2 more times.

I have to say i had a great time.

Its my favourite stage show of all time. How i wish it would return to the west end again. I know there is currently a touring production in the US and if it happens to come your way GO GO GO!!!!

I love the musical production of Beauty and the Beast! I saw it on Broadway twice and I wish it would still be on B-way so I could see it again.

I have the "talking" gene as well that I have passed to all my 3 children. The first time I made contact with my German relatives was when they called me from Germany and we talked for over an hour!!

I was born with the talking gene too! I love talking!

With this whole doctor thing weighing over me, I have been mentally out-of-it so I apologize. Thank you to everyone for your kind words.

I know it's easy to say not to worry, but it's not an easy thing to do...so instead of saying anything, I'm just going to send you hugs to get through the next couple of days...

I read a post that said DCL ran out of Mickey bars in Europe!! Say it ain't so For those of you that have done the WBTA before,did they run out and did they get more in time for that cruise?

In 2007 they ran out the second or third week in Europe. Seems strange that they would run out at about the same time again three years later! Last time I read that they said they had supply problems getting them produced and or shipped to Europe. I would have assumed that they would have gotten those problems sorted out before heading back over again.

It will be a very sad time indeed if they don't have the bars restocked until the last night of our cruise!

We've been on 12 Disney cruises, and did the WBTA in 2007 so we know what a great time this cruise will be. DH and myself are retired and live in FL so we get a lot of company and we travel when we can. DS and DBIL are working folks who live in MD. Our traveling and company visits will be wrapping up soon so we'll have some time to dedicate to getting ready to join you in Barcelona. This is going to be so much fun!

Today it has been in the 90s here. Of course, we try to turn on our air conditioning on and it doesn't work! So, it's almost midnight and having trouble sleeping because it's so hot in the house. The guys to can't come to fix it till Tuesday!! I think it's suppose to start cooling off tomorrow. UHH!

As you can see, I've defined the sort order at the bottom. The color coding in the last two columns is used only for direct inbound flights to BCN. Furthermore, the coloring matches the color coding for arrival dates on the Barcelona Accommodations List. In Chapter 6 of our threads, I'll have both of these lists in Post #2 so you can make cross references more easily.

We've heard good things about Jiko. Sounds like you'll have some beautiful meals at all the signature restaurants. Did you consider the Spirit of Aloha dinner and show, It's one of my favourites? But my favourite food has to be the beignets at Port Orleans, French Quarter, Have you had them? They are devine!

I just luuurve the Beignets!!

They did not have "Mickey Bars" on the WBTA in 2007. We were told that when they received them they were cracked and could not serve them. However, they had a fake Mickey Bar that was not chocolate covered and was "Ok" On our last night we had some of the "Mickey Bars" at early dining becasue the Wonder left them for us at Castaway Cay. However, late seating did not get them (according to the other folks we were travelling with).

I will not be surprised if they do not have any. I will be disappointed and Dh, DBil and Dsis will no doubt go through some sort of withdrawls. However, with all the booze tasting we have signed up for, I feel comfortable in saying they are likely to forget about the Mickey Bars and possibly their own names.

I hope they manage to get the Mickey Bars for our trip. We should all be nagging DCL!!

Unfortunately John won't be boozing, so he might be in a bad mood if no Mickey Bars!
