Separate checks question

Is this an issue with getting four different checks at table service restaurants if we are a party of four families?

There shouldn’t be. Just let them know as soon as you sit down.
Be aware that even though you are getting 4 separate checks, 18% gratuity will automatically be added if you have 6 or more people.

I've never had any problems splitting checks between 4 people, even when we forget to tell them in the beginning that we are splitting checks. I'd definitely tell them when you sit since you said 4 families to make it easier on the wait staff to keep track.

Someone just told me we could apply different credit cards to different magic bands even in the same room. So that would be great to just say charge my husband and my meal to my magic band, and my daughter and her husband the same on their band with no math nightmares.

Yes, you can... they will set all that up during check in. We've done this a few time when my in-laws traveled with us. Makes it a lot easier!
