Selfie sticks are no longer confiscated at security checkpoints. The new procedure is that guests in possession of one are instructed to drop it off at a merchandise location to be tagged for package pickup.
Seriously?
Yes. I think it's incredibly dumb, but that's what we were instructed to do.
Yeah, that will work well.Selfie sticks are no longer confiscated at security checkpoints. The new procedure is that guests in possession of one are instructed to drop it off at a merchandise location to be tagged for package pickup.
You can easily do that with a hand too though. Heck I accidentally obscured my sister on her wedding night in her wedding dress in ToTI'm so happy that sefie sticks are banned but it's too little too late for us since our family had two single riders ruin our ride pic by their sticks obscuring my kids' faces on their very first ride on TT.
I hate those dumb things!
I think selfie sticks are ridiculous and I would never use one. I just wanted to point out photos can be obscured really easily without them tooOops!
maybe I'm drawing a weird line in the sand, but I feel like your situation was an innocent oopsie. A selfie stick seems like an intentional photo killer to me. Like, you are sticking it out and in the way on purpose.
