seeing FP availability before switching plans to new park?

for our June trip, we are thinking of using our fast passes in the am at a different park than current planned fp. Last year I thought we could do the swapping to see what was open beforehand. Now when I click to "add new" it says we have exceeded our limit. I'm afraid to lose current ones. I've looked at the touring plans info but we have 4riders and its default is 1.

Can you see what fp are available at another park without canceling current ones? Did this option disappear with the recent changes? Thanks for any help!

I just tried to do this as well and was going to post this same question. Hopefully someone will have some insight or be able to tell us how to do it. I have 6 day tickets and have 2 non-park days. I wanted to see if I could still get FP if I switch the days we are going to EP but I don't want to lose our current FP for EP.

I just called WDW and didn't get the answer I was hoping for. She said there is no way to look at another day (if all your days have FP booked) without releasing a day of FP first. Although she didn't sound very sure of herself so I am still not sure if this is the right answer. I even asked if it is possible for her to just look into availability for the day I want and she said she could not. However it sounds like you CAN look online at a different park for the same day and without losing your original FP unless you complete the change.

When you try to select FP for a new park it will give you the warning that you are giving up other FPs. It doesn't mean right that instant, or it doesn't work that way anyway. If you click ok and select a new FP at a different park, on the screen where you confirm the new FP it says again if you make this new FP you will give up these other ones. At that point you can still hit cancel and you will still have the original FPs.

I think this works for the OP but probably not for me. Do you know if there is a way for me to check FP for a day I don't already have FP (a day I originally intended to be a non-park day), without giving up one of the days I already have? When I try to do it, the response is "You have reached your max. FP+ allotment. To continue, remove members from your party or go back and select a date for which you already made FP+ selections." So I don't think there is any way to see if anything is even available without give up an entire days FP.

Stacey, it won't work for you because you have used up your allotted entitlements.

Checking availability on the Touring Plans site will be an option.

Thank you for the information. I am a touring plans member and didn't realize they had this feature. I just checked their site and there are no Test Track FP+ left for the day I wanted to switch to so that tells me that I don't want to switch days. Thanks again for your help!

Thank you for the information. Stacey, I'm in the same position, as I have used our allotted 8 days on the ticket and it doesn't give me the option. It's a shame because I'm pretty sure I could do this in the old system!

Finally got it! It's possible through the app. I'd been using the browser on my pc and it didn't give me the ability.
