Just so you know, those FP's are completely adjustable. I care not one whit about them! If you want to float around on your noodles all day until the MD (magical depression bus) that's what we'll do.

I think its a sign of how stressed I am, that I was dreaming of drinks more than food last night . I'm fascinated by the Singapore Sling. Might have to be one of the first stops!

One more thing. I have to admit that Poppygirl was right about the Parisian Breakfast. I was a little skeptical, but the reviews sound amazing! Unlimited mimosas (how many times can I write those two words ). Wonderful pastries. And most important - meat and cheese. I don't do well without a little protein in the morning . I agree with the reviewers who think this will be priced higher next year.

Oh my gosh! I had a stress dream last night too--only mine didn't involve anything nice like a DRINK WITH ALCOHOL! Mine was about the wedding. I dreamed that we arrived for the wedding and saw another little girl who was in the wedding wearing her bridesmaid dress and suddenly realized that DD's dress had never arrived at our house so I was texting BZ and her mom MOB frantically trying to find out if DD was kicked out of the wedding or if MOB had her dress or what...and no one would text me back!!! It was awful!

DD had a little trauma this week as our dear sweet Kitty Perry died and she was just devastated. She was so stressed that she got sick--I think it just killed her immunity--anyway, I was feeling her pain and we were all really sad.

So my ACTUAL post about this morning was supposed to be about PACKING!! I have OPENED the suitcases....I have put items INTO the suitcases (swimsuit, cover-up and sunscreen, MNSSHP costume--all the important things )....I have sorted through my closet and put things in the laundry to be washed so that they are not stinky for Mickey.

So, SKATER, what's YOUR packing sitch?

Want to see what's actually in that suitcase? Well, ya can't. My photo was not close enough! Those little white things are dryer sheets so my clothes smell all nice and fresh and not like "eau de hotel room."


Carry on with swimsuit, cover up and flip flops. Emergency supplis in case our luggage is lost....sun screen, contact solution, toothbrush. Tip envelopes and earphones. My laptop will go in here. That's so we can update you, our loyal readers.

Two weeks from right now we will be waking up at Art of Animation in that Little Mermaid room and taking a taxi over to Yacht Club and checking in for our AWESOME ADVENTURE!!!! It can NOT get her soon enough. It has been raining for two solid days here. Although we desperately need the rain, it's getting a little old now.

In the category of "random goings on" here's what's up:
DD's bridesmaid dress arrived in the mail yesterday. She does not like it. Apparently she is a "junior" bridesmaid. I was told that the wedding is formal and MOB will be wearing a long gown....I was told the bridesmaid dresses were plum....so here's what came yesterday (in black)

Ummm.....ok....it's black....it's short. I'm so confused. It's also super cheaply made. Not very nice at all. DD's comment to me was "mom, I don't think this wedding is going to be very fun at all--not like Maria's (that's my niece--DD was in her wedding as a flower girl a few years ago). Since I'm no longer "allowed" (since apparently my interest causes BZ to be stressed out ) to speak to BZ or MOB and I don't WANT to talk to MOE....I can't ask and I'm not sure what to wear. Should I get a long gown? I don't want to be the center of attention by totally wearing the wrong thing--know what I mean? Stupid wedding.

On a happier note though, my riding boots arrived too....I had asked DH to get me riding boots for Christmas this year but as we were watching the safe riding dvd, we realized we really need them now. I really like them. Of course it's raining so I can't USE them! (arrgh! )

Our annual fall festival which is held at our house had to be cancelled because of the rain. I felt a little bit of relief--it gives me a tiny bit more time to get ready for the trip and my scrapbooking retreat. (we need an emoticon thing for mixed emotions....)

Yesterday one of my travel clients sent an e-mail to my boss and said a bunch of really super nice things about me. Awww! He sent me a message to tell me and then my boss posted it on FB on our agent page. I'm telling you--it's these little kindnesses from others that are getting me through all the wedding madness. I truly want to be happy about this....I WANT to be looking forward to being there and celebrating with our son, but I'm finding it extremely difficult.

Let's see....how to end this on a positive note....

Too funny, I would wear a cocktail type dress for a formal wedding......nothing to tight though...lol Or a nice dress suit would work also. That kitty is adorable, I have never worn cowboy boots my arch is to high for them to fit me. I have gone ridding in tennis and had my foot slip through the stirip so I understand the boot thing. I try to wear a shoe with a heal like a boot ,but not quite a boot that is my compromise. But I would love to get real boots if they would go over my silly foot. I tend to take my feet out of the stirups a lot ,used to ride bearback a lot guess that got me into that bad habbit.....

My DH tore his pectoral muscle working on some farm machinery. He's supposed to not use his right arm for 6 weeks. He refuses to take any pain medication and he told me flat out that he's not going to stop using his arm. *sigh*. He is so stubborn.

Can I go on vacation now?
