This is my favorite thread to read you girls are to much. Always make me laugh. And getting DH to chuckle is no easy feat. He is.........shall I say it (not a Disney fan) I am not even to talk about our trip. He said just tell me where and when and I will follow along. I had to inform him we can't make the national doxy races next year because we will be driving to florida. Not happy out that but hey priorities right!! He did say he wanted to stop at Unerversal to see the simpsons area... I really hate the simpsons but wouldn't mind seeing HP!!

I'm with you....The Simpsons??? But Harry Potter could definitely be fun! My younger DSS went by himself last year just before Thanksgiving and had a great time. What are the doxy races?

I think so....I looked it up on the interwebs (hehe) and the pressure in your head and difficulty concentrating after a head trauma are symptoms of concussion. Did I mention that I got knocked down by my beautiful boys a couple days ago? I wasn't wearing a helmet because I wasn't riding them, and it was actually my fault....one horse was tied in between me and the other horse and I reached out to pull the un-tied horse in closer to love on him and he got spooked and bolted, causing the tied horse to bolt....causing the rope to pull tight and knock me down. Only me. So since we've had these boys, I've fallen off once and been knocked down once and hit my head HARD both times. This is after a lifetime of never ever hitting my head--ever.

On to Disney talk.

Yesterday skater and I decided that we need more time to get to the airport. Our flight leaves at 7:09pm. We are 45 minutes from the airport and will need to park the car. For some reason the husbands don't really want to drive us??? What is THAT all about? Anyway, we decided to leave at 3:15. Get something to eat at the airport since we probably won't arrive at the resort until 10:30 or 11:00 that night. (but then we get to WAKE UP at Disney!!!!! WHOO HOO). We are going to be there SO early!!! I have free drink coupons for Southwest. Been saving them for this trip. skater will probably be sleeping before the second one..... Dreaming about her pool noodle. Nah....we'll probably both be too excited to sleep.

We'll be arriving at the resort and heading to bed so we can wake up bright and early at the resort (Art of Animation) and check it out before we grab our taxi over to Yacht Club for the rest of the trip.

Phew-okay finally read through the whole thing and I'm loving all the plans and costumes and wish/must do list (you go girl). Have to say the Scottish banoffee sounds yum(I make a mean banoffee but there's no booze in it )! The elephant drink sounds interesting -love Bailies and Kahula is a bit like that but I cant imagine mixing it with coke so you will have to let me know if it's good. As for the dessert party -well that just sounds like heaven . I stayed in the yacht club this past summer and loved every single bit of it and I bet you will too

Sorry about the wedding drama (just remember to breathe). It will all come out in the wash-better to bite your tongue that say something you regret-at least you can go for a ride on your lovely horses to calm your frayed nerves!

The National doxy races are held here in Findlay. You have one person holding the dog (mini doxies)at the starting gate. (they race 4 at a time) The other person goes to the end of the race(35 feet for adult dogs) and calls the dog. 1..2..3...go they race down to you and wallah doxy racing. You get a trophy or ribbon and bragging rights. No money involved. There are races all over the country. Some people take their dogs all over, ours have raced in several races in Ohio and Michigan for the last 4 years. My hubby loves it but we will miss it next year as the race in Findlay is the last weekend of sept. and we check in on 1 oct. Going to drive down and he wants to go to unerversal on the way......so no race next year. But we can still race in Toledo the weekend before we leave. So I say oh well suck it up it's to Disney we are going......

Yes the Brown Elephant sounds so good to me--I have a great love for all things African and Amarula is the liqueur in it....yum! Although if skater accepts my challenge I may not make it.....

So what you are saying here is that it's time to start packing? We must be at the 470th level of planning--that is the level where we plan what we will wear to each event/park. If you were my kid or my husband I'd be color-coordinating our outfits so that we would look good in photos. (That was after the disastrous family photo of 2009 in which everyone clashed and the photo, which could have been super cute, looked awful. Now I'm paranoid about making sure our outfits go together. They dont' have to be matchy matchy, but they have to complement each other.)

Going out to dinner tonight with DD, DD's friend, DD's friend's mom and maybe DS. DH has a meeting at church and it's been raining all day and I had stuff to do and no dinner has been prepared. Rather, I'm sitting here on the couch with my laptop writing posts in my PTR and making snarky comments on FB instead of doing anything productive. DD and her friend have gymnastics class tonight so we are meeting up afterwards. DD and friend are currently on the porch doing a photo shoot with the kittens. I think they need better lighting, but otherwise they've got it all set up like a modeling agency.

Check out and store luggage
Have a little time at the pool??? (skater almost always has to go down the slide one last time). Of course on THIS trip she will most likely be floating around the pool on her noodles instead of going down the slide)
Walk to Epcot for the very last time we shall walk from our magical resort to Epcot
• Soarin (FP) 11:20-12:20pm one last time on our favorite ride
• Meet Disney Pals at Character Spot (FP) 12:35-1:35 (for PoppyGirl) okay, don't laugh. I like meeting characters. It makes my scrapbook more fun later.
• Test Track (FP) 1:35-2:35pm

Lunch and snacks at the food kiosks--maybe repeat our favorites
Get a GINORMOUS bag of carmel corn from Karmel Kuche for the trip home. This is NOT to share with family. No, no, no. This is ONLY for us.
3:00-3:30ish back to resort for Magical Depression Bus Our flight leaves around 7 at night so we should be able to spend some time at the park before boarding that awful depression bus. I wonder if they played some sort of PDD (post Disney depression) video if it would be therapeutic?
