Judi, I haven't even decorated for Halloween. I'm really not ready to decorate for Christmas. I bought new tires for my vehicle so we will have a nice mild winter right?

Last year it started snowing Oct. 1st. We've been very lucky so far this year.

i havent started Christmas shopping yet. I have been thinking about it though. We are seriously considering a trampoline this year and Joey will be getting a big boy bike.
And then we will do a wii game or 2 probably.....I am not real sure...money is still tight at my house.

You Michaganders are welcome to some of our heat. We're supposed to be about 93 today and 95 tomorrow. I'm sick of it!

Well, guess what? DH took the dogs for a hike again this morning, and yep, you guessed it, Sierra got sprayed by the skunk again! Obviously this skunk has moved into the area where they go hiking so maybe it's time to find a new place. But at least this time he didn't let her in the house. He's learning! I'm not sure we'll ever get the smell out of our SUV, though. Ah...good times!

I'm SO ready to decorate for Christmas!! I actually bought a new box of ornaments at Sams this week. OK, so I didn't really need 100 but I loved the colors and you couldn't beat the price.

What's everybody up to this weekend? For me it's cleaning house, watching football and baking pumpkin bread. Are you all fans of nutless pumpkin bread, or do you like nuts? I like nuts in mine. Sometimes you feel like a nut...

Angie, pour jugs of vinegar over Sierra and rub it in. Dawn dish soap wash, the another jug of vinegar. Don't rinse out the last gal. She'll smell like a bean salad for a bit, but it should take care of Pepe's le-PPPPPPPUUUUUUU.

May I have mine with nuts please.

We did some research online, and he used hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and Dawn. Then he washed her with regular shampoo. He thinks it worked, but his nose is so used to the smell he's not really sure. I boiled some vinegar and water on the stove to try and get the smell out of the house, but then it just smelled like vinegar and skunk!! It's faded quite a bit and you can hardly smell it anymore, thank goodness.

Ugh Angie that stinks! We use the peroxide, baking soda and Dawn method too. It works really well, but Speck ended up a lighter shade of brown from the peroxide. I think you may want to put some baking soda/vinegar in the car though. Yuck!

No nuts in the bread. I can handle nuts in some things these days, but bread isn't one of them. However, at Kona I love the butter with the macadamia nuts in it and I put that on bread. So maybe I do like nuts in bread, I'm confused!

Yep - more soccer - tomorrow only. I am then taking Annie (my female black lab) down to southern Indiana on Sunday to meet a potential mate. He is supposed to be a champion chocolate lab. I hope they have a good first date!
