Grandparents Day was short and sweet. It's actually all week long because they don't have a ton of parking at Colin's school. They split it up to try an alleviate the grandparents from having to walk too far. It's only one hour and they do the book fair at the same time. Don't think they didn't plan that ahead of time.

Ladies, that clown gives me the creeps. All clowns do, but ones that sport Depends are particularly disturbing. Maybe we can send him to Bonnie's house and he can scare away the germs.

Today is Pumpkin day at school. We are making pumpkin muffins and pumpkin pie playdough. Plus, there is an added bonus. Yesterday, I was searching deep in one of the school closets and found a stash of puppets. After digging through for a while I came up with - ------- CHUMLEY! That's right, Tennessee Tuxedo's old sidekick, Chumley the Walrus. Complete with sailor hat! Needless to say, this treasure will be visiting my classroom for the forseeable future. It's time the next generation learned how wonderful Chumley was back in the day. So, with all of this fun to be had, who would like to come to preschool with me? Pumpkin muffins, walruses and all of the germs you can carry. What's not to like?
