Becca, look at you with your violent threats. Don't make me get all Hancock on your ****....

That looks like a blast Bonnie!! Can I come?? I'd even wear a swimsuit in public for that place. ;) Are you leaving today or tomorrow?

Sure you can come!! leaving tomorrow but I am thinking of just staying home and letting brent take the girls. Still thinking about it though.

You could always threaten her with the old hooter-honking...

Psh, you people have been replaced. I want my hooters honked by Jerry.

Hi everyone......

Joey's doctor left me a message this morning that he had some bloodwork come back abnormal and she wants him to see a specialist. I tried calling her but she is out to lunch. I hate waiting.....especially now since I am freaking out about what might be wrong:sad2: My mind is saying it will probably be fine and nothing serious but my heart is aching that there might be something wrong with my baby:sad1:

I hope everyone is having a good day.

Heather stay calm

Cole had weird bloodwork at that age. Could just be the butterfly or vials that we used.

Thanks Judi.

I finally talked to the doctor and she wants Joey seen at Texas Children's Hospital by geneticist. SHe thinks he has some sort of metabolic disorder. According to his labwork, he has a carnitine deficiency.....or a possible carnitine deficiency. She admitted she doesn't know alot about it which is why she wants him seen by a specialist. SHe also warned me again that if he gets sick again that I need to take him right away to Tx Children's. I picked up a copy of his lab results to take with me just in case. I am still hoping it was an isolated incident.:upsidedow

I looked it up online but it could be written in another language for all the sense it made to me:laughing:

His appointment is set for August 11. I won't know more til then so I am determined to not be a complete basket case til then. I am worried about my baby, of course, but I am trying to "borrow trouble" as my mama always says;)

How are you doing, Judi? How is your mom doing?

Heather, linky no worky

It's an amino acid, it may be something as simple as not enough meat in his diet which was just trigger by his bout of diarrhea. He'll be fine. Cook him a giant steak.;)

All kids go thru the not hungry stage. He'll be fine.

I do have a funny Joey story....I wish I had pictures because it was too funny.

This morning Joey comes into my room to wake me up and is almost completely naked........he was wearing nothing more than one of his birthday party hats covering his peanut!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl2:

BTW~~Becca cracked me up when she posted the peeing smiley just for Joey:lmao:

:rotfl2: ok Heather, not a sign of weakness in that boy. Did you get a photo.;)

His slide shot and his hat shot would have been a perfect Monday front page.:rotfl2:

Just running through with my jogging buddy, Matthew! Have a great weekend!!!

Hey there, Sassy ladies! I'm liking the daily new eye candy on this thread - Keep it up, Judi! Only I think we will have to ditch Jerry - I am beginning to wonder if he's a dirty old man.:confused3 A cheerful, friendly dirty old man.

Becca - I forgot to congratulate Brendan and Justin on their swims Thursday night! Way to go, fellas! Barney wants to know what Brendan was swimming, and BamBam is glad that Justin is on his wavelength, thinking about how to get across the pool:laughing: !

Bonnie - did you survive the day with all of the absent teachers? Have a blast at Great Wolf Lodge - it's the perfect weekend for it as it will be so hot and miserable. We were thinking about going to Busch Gardens on Sunday, but I think it will be too hot.

Heather - I agree with your mama, don't borrow trouble. Would you like me to talk to my Ped. Nurse Practitioner friend and try to get info? It sounds like it's not a common problem so I don't know if she's seen it before but I can ask. It seems from the reading I have been doing that even if it is the problem they suspect, that it can be treated with supplements and diet. Hugs to you, my dear!

Judi - isn't tough love fun? Glad she ate the egg! How are the hospice nurses? Where do you find all of those man pictures, or are they all friends of yours?;)

Angie - what have you been reading in your tv-less state? I must say, I am quite addicted to my reality tv as well. Mr. FofP started it, so I will blame him. Does Mr. Angie watch the shows as well? I am considering watching that Greatest American Dog thing. What about you?

Tricia - do you miss Kendall already? Do you think she will write you a letter? I always have to send Barney with a SASE or there is no hope in getting a letter. I wonder if I will have to do such things when he's in college.:sad2:

Hi Granny, Shannon, Kimmy, and Julie! Any big weekend plans?

We blew off swim BamBam's swim practice today and went to the zoo in Richmond instead. It was hot, but a lot of fun. They have giraffes and camels that you can feed and there are a lot of monkeys. One monkey in particular was having a fine time with his private parts, the sight of which turned Barney's ears red. But, he was an excellent acrobat (which I am sure the female monkeys appreciate) and a fantastic sense of humor so I guess we can overlook his side activities. Then tonight we had the annual pool party for the team which was really a lot of fun. The kids get so excited just to be swimming at night - what is it about swimming at night? Feels decadent, I guess. I used to love it when I was a kid.

Holy crap, there are only 3 months until I turn 40. Foo. Mental note - throw out all calendars asap.

Happy Saturday to all, and to all a good night!

Morning,Sassies! I'm up at 5:30 on a saturday morning. I just can't sleep in anymore!

Wilma, I'm glad you had fun at the zoo. Kids sure do love animals, don't they? My kids can't get enough of the National zoo. Our favorites are the armadillos and the golden tamarind monkeys. And the wolves, Caitlin is obsessed with wolves.

Busch Gardens would be a blast...we have never been. If you go, let me know how it was and how the crowds were.

Shannon! Nice to see you around here, lady! :yay: How's it going? Thanks for the pic of Matthew...always a pleasure. He is a hot one. Although I must say this was not his most attractive picure!

Happy Saturday hot sassy ladies! I have to leave for work soon, I can feel the hardwood floors under my feet.

Judi, I love todays man. Glad you got mom to eat an egg. Keep up the tough love!

Heather, I agree with your mom too, but it's hard when its our kiddos.

Wilma, my boys love to swim at night too. I used to love it as a kid, especially at my cousins house because they had a hot tub and we would sit in the hot tub then run to the pool. Good times! Busch Gardens sounds fun I would do it even if it was hot.

Bonnie, have fun at the Great Wolf. Don't get eaten by a rogue wolf that may have wandered in.

Shannon, great to see you here with your jogging buddy. I may start jogging so I can find a hot buddy too.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Toot, I liked the picture of Matt just fine. Thank You Shannon. Any man that exerices in my place is :thumbsup2

Wilma, No help yet still just moi, Mr. J and Cole. Mom tells me yesterday "do you know that child was on the computer at 11 last night" I smilied and said do you know that is how she gets to spend her summer vacation this year.

Mom has to agree to hospice in order for us to get it.

Angie, how is the new Directv setup? You know me dial-up and old Direct. I should one day get with the times:laughing:

Bonnie, to wolf or not to wolf, you going?

Kimmy, did I scare you off with the 2fer's. Sorry. Just felt the need to show off a couple of my kinfolk.;)

Becca, don't work to hard this weekend. If you do put the $ toward the floor.

Shirley, any word on the dryer. You look so tired:laundy:

Heather, I'm still laughing over Joey's hat. How did he get it to stay there:scared1:

Julie-doo where are you:confused: Oh wait, puppy is Astro not Scooby.:headache:

Good Morning! Another exciting work day for me..... I'm gonna try to actually get some work done :rotfl:

Probably not....

Hope you are all having a nice weekend.
