Judi thanks for the coffee. I'm enjoying a cup right now. I tell you that I felt off all day not starting out right with my trusty brewed friend in the morning. Last night we went to Cracker Barrel after watching Kendall's competition at camp. Mark ordered breakfast and coffee and boy did it smell good. I think I was having coffee withdrawals.

Becca have fun at work. Each day brings you closer to getting those beautiful floors.

Bonnie the link to the lodge looks great. Sort of a mini version of the Wilderness Lodge at Disney.

Heather I'm sure Joey will be fine. I know how scary it must be for you right now. Hang in there and keep us supplied with his funny stories. You know we all love them. Here's a party hat in honor of Joey.

Wilma I didn't send Kendall with a SASE and I really don't think she would even have time to write a letter. I will be picking her up before the letter would even reach me. Snail mail you know.

TC has a cracker barrel and a great wolf lodge, see I'm only a little over an hour from city livin and a mall and the hospital and the casino.

Now if it's snowing it's a much longer drive.

It is too hot outside to really go anywhere.....although we might go to the mall and play in the new lego store ...for the kids...yeah, the kids like to play there

Good afternoon Sassies! I took my morning sleep in to a new level - 9:30! Gotta catch up sometime, I suppose. Shortly after that we went to the memorial service which was really sad. It was for DH's partner's mom. He (the partner, not DH) gave the eulogy and it was beautiful but it's hard to see a grown man cry.

Judi - I thought that your mom had agreed to the hospice. I guess it makes sense that she needs to, but in a lot of ways it's so unfair to you and your family. I wish I was nearby to help. While Cole is on the computer, can you ask her to google the seven wonders of the world for me? It's BamBam's latest question and I cannot remember what they are. Not sure I ever learned it, actually.

Becca - have fun at work. Are you planning on a light shade or dark shade of wood for the floors?

Heather - a new Lego store? I thought they only had those at Disney! I'm jealous!

Angie - what's the plan for the weekend? Enjoy the air conditioning while you have it!

Hi Girls! We took the metro into DC and went to the Nat'l Air and Space Museum today. DH was being wankery. Tomorrow we leave early for Williamsburg and the Great Wolf Lodge. He'd best be nice! He has to go to a wedding and the girls and I are whooping it up at the big fat waterpark! Hopefully I will also find time to read, cause I need to get my book finished. I don't have any concentration lately. I've been reading the same book for three weeks and I'm only half finished. It's a good book too!

Bonnie - what a drag a wankery husband can be. Mr. FofP was in a cranky mood all day too. After the memorial service, I did some cleaning and then we took BamBam to a swim lesson (he still needs to learn breastroke and butterfly before the fall season). We left Mr. FofP home alone to get some sulking done, and when we came bake he was better. I feel for ya, lady! Tell that man of yours that if he can't behave, you will splash him mercilessly at GWL.

Judi - thanks for the info. I would have never guessed some of them. I suppose it's the pyramids that have lasted? I'd love to see them some day.

Tonight we watched a movie about the assassination of Jesse James. It was really good! I knew very little about him. Anyone else have a movie night?

Bonnie have a great time at the lodge.

Today we are going to my mom's house for gumbo.

Kelsie is working until 12:00 then we'll head on over (it's about 45 minutes away). Kendall asked if I'd please bring her home some to eat tomorrow night. She said the food at camp stinks. Well not literally but you get the picture.

Good morning, Sassy ones! Judi - the raccoon supper would have been a good threat. I will have to save it for the next time. I hope he snaps out of it soon - I think it's part of the grieving process for Linus. Anyway, I like the firefighter picture that greeted me this morning. Although, that one on the right has frighteningly white teeth, I must say.

This is our last week of early swim practice! On Sunday, Barney goes to camp and mom gets reacquainted with the back of her eyelids at this God-awful hour. I am just not a morning person!

Good morning Sassies!!!

It was a busy weekend and there is no end insight for another week!!!

Mav had a wonderful time at camp and didn't really want to come home.
We had a one day bike show on Saturday and MrJulie pinstriped some bikes. Yesterday we went shopping for next weekend's bike show. We got a new travel trailer a couple of weeks ago that we can stay in instead of a hotel. We never have had a camper, so I am trying to figure out what all I can take, while MrJulie reminds me to pack light and not add too much weight. For once I am looking forward to this show as it will be a new adventure staying onsite. But it is a lot to learn and read about (if I don't, MrJulie certainly won't read instructions and we'll fry the appliances or blow up the propane or something!)

Today I am heading off to work in a few. I am anxious to get there this morning as I am installing an upgrade to our library system today. Hopefully all will go smoothly so I can be off the rest of the week. I have so much to do to get ready to leave Thursday afternoon, plus I have put off so much of my regular house work -- I wish I would get fired as "cleaning lady" so someone else would take over.

Judy, I am thinking about you. I hope you and your Mom have a good day.

Early morning hello to you sassy things. I'm just waiting for the coffee to brew so I can get my act together. We have to pick up Kendall by 7:15 this morning. She has to have all of her stuff out of the dorm by then and they have some sort of competition at 9:00.
