Ok, when I arrived home, I found two gigantic puddles of chocolatey dog vomit on the stairs. Gretchen had apparently climbed onto the table and oinked down some chocolate that Brent brought home from his trip. So I got the treat of trying to scrub that out of the carpet. The shampooer was not working so I had to do it by hand. I wanted to puke.

I'm taking the girls to lunch at Cracker Barrel and then we are taking our lawn chairs and our books to Locust Shade Park to read and play on the playground for a while. Time for us to get out of the house.

I love Cracker Barrel, we don't go very often though. I love the store even more than the food!

Eeewww, Bonnie! But, congratulations to Gretchen for that feat of acrobatics. Is she normally a table climber? Maybe she will think twice next time if her tummy is upset now. Then again, maybe she won't. I don't remember the last time that I thought twice about eating chocolate!

Becca - Thanks for taking a spin on Dumbo for me! I miss that chubby little guy.

Good day to all you Sassies! The A/C seems to be working today.

Add another DirecTV fan to the list. I LOVE it, and I think it's only gone out once in the almost 10 years we've had it. But, I don't have it today. We are getting all new HD equipment tomorrow, and when I asked them to disconnect my old service (as with Becca SSHHH-we are being kinda sneaky to get all new equipment) I asked what time do they shut it off and was told midnight. So I said turn it off Thursday. Well they meant midnight all right-they must have turned it off at 12:01 am last night!! Oh well, I've got books that I desperately need to finish. This HD thing better be good-I'll be PO'd if I don't notice a difference!

Tricia~I love to wrap presents, too, but I'm not that good at it. But I love all the pretty paper and bows! I long to be the Martha Stewart of present-wrapping. Can I go to camp with Kendall? It sounds like a blast!

Wilma~my anniversary is 9/17, too!!! We were married in '95-how about you? Oh, and I have never watched Project Runway-is it good?

Bonnie~I feel for ya in the dog puke clean-up. Mr. Angie won't clean it up unless I'm not home, so I always get the pleasure. Lovely...The park sounds like fun!!

Julie~you really need to have a talk with Atlas and tell him that anything before 6:00 am is NOT an acceptable time to wake you up. Course, he is a cute little puppy - it's hard to be mad at them for long when they look at you with those puppy eyes!

Judi~thanks for the fireman again. He is quite enjoyable to look at. Another reason why I like watching the men's swimming events!!

Bex~I can't have sweets too late at night or the sugar keeps me up. Never used to-this getting old thing sucks! Any new injuries for the boys today? The itchy man uses his comb to scratch his back and thinks of you...

Heather~I vote for a pirate cake! Who doesn't love pirates? Especially Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp-YUM! How's Jasmine?

I had a bad sinus headache last night and was up for about an hour. Sierra could tell I was awake and came over and put her little nose on my arm, so I got up and we had a love-fest in the living room for about 30 minutes. It's weird how they know if we're awake or not. Guess lots of us were up last night.

Hi Angie! You will notice a huge difference with the HD receiver at least we did. Directv has lots of HD channels too and they keep adding more which is nice.

Angie - we were married in 1994. We honeymooned in WDW! I am missing Disney a lot today - I need a fix soon.

Project Runway is great! They have young (usually) clothing designers face a design challenge weekly, and each contestant is judged as "in" or "out". It's probably my favorite show. A lot of the clothes are things I would not wear, but I can admire their vision and skills. I just assumed with the Top Chef connection that you would watch it. Give it a try!

What do you all think of that spray sunscreen? It's so light and misty, I don't know if I trust it to work. But it's so convenient! I am torn........

D'day mates. Did that sound Australian? I'm working on my accent.

I'm bored. I probably sound like my kids saying that. I've got a pot of soup cooking on the stove for dinner and the kids are watching a movie. All the laundry is done and I don't feel much like exercising. Sooooooooooooo if you ask me it's too darn hot for soup but that's what Mark felt like eating today. I sent Kelsie to the store to buy everything (which is so nice) not having to go. I just give her my debit card and away she goes. Of course she comes home with added things to the list but I'm just happy I didn't have to go.

Hi Wilma. I must have been typing the same time as you.

We use the spray sunscreen all the time. While I do thing the other last longer I just reapply the spray more often. You have to make sure you get the clear other wise you are still rubbing it in if you buy the lotion spray.

Good evening Sassies! We are back from the swim meet. Brendan got 2 seconds, a fourth and a fifth. Which is pretty good considering he's swimming against kids 2 years older as well as his age. Justin is just happy he makes it across the pool, he hams it up to much!

Here is my take on the spray on sunscreen. I think its a great product although I don't think it lasts as long, but I never buy it because a can doesn't last long and costs the same as the rub in. If it came in a hairspray sized can I would use it for sure!

Good morning sassies. Kendall has been up since 5 AM. Too excited to sleep I think. We've already packed the car with her gear and I'll be picking up two others to take to camp. I'm thinking the car is going to be very loud this morning.

Bonnie why is that sometimes things taste better than others? I fix my coffee the same every morning and some days it's just so much better. Today I'm having withdrawals because I didn't drink my coffee today. It makes me have to pee too much so I skipped. Now I keep feeling like something is missing.
