Good evening Sassys! Just a drive by, my hairdresser called and can get me in at 6 so I will be getting primped. I haven't had my hair cut or colored since right before Chicago. Can you say roots?

Angie, I can't chat on Friday night, but Saturday night looks good to me. Let me know hag!
Evening!!
How are you?

How funny-I haven't had mine done either, and my roots are hideous!! I may have to pull out the old box of Clairol-$140 for a cut and dye aren't really in the budget right now! :worried:

When I first read your post I thought you said you would be getting pimped!! :lmao:

Joey's doctor called today. I have to take him back in for more bloodwork on Thursday to make sure everything is really back to normal. She offered us some numbing medicine so it won't hurt so bad when they draw blood. I have to pick it up at the pharmacy and take it in an hour before our appointment so the phlebotomist can apply it where she is going to stick him. I am sure he is still going to freak out but at least this might help the hurt a little. I didn't even know such a thing was possible. His pediatrician is the absolute best!!:goodvibes

Hi, Sassy Ladies! Indeed, I did fall asleep at the pool this morning, Angie. I did manage not to fall in, though, which is a plus for all involved. When early practice was done Barney asked if he could go to his summer team's practice because he wasn't happy with what he'd accomplished (or not) at the early one. So I drove him to the other one, and then we waited for BamBam's practice. Suffice it to say that I left at 5am and got back to the house at 12:30. But wait, there's more! Barney's teacher from last year had invited the whole class to meet at the lake for picnicking and frolic, so we did that until about 5p.m.. I am pooped! Lucky for me, tomorrow is not an early practice day so I get to sleep in until 6:30. Woohoo!

Happily - as for the initiation, it goes something like this. You need to kidnap Bonnie's beet eating sheep and teach it an aria from Carmen. When that is done, his wool needs to be tie dyed and snipped into curlyque patterns. As soon as that is completed, all hags here need to be served the caffeinated beverage of their choice (Bonnie and I are diet coke fans) and a tray with exactly three chocolate truffles on a doily. Then, you are in like Flynn!;) You seem a talented girl - I am sure you will have it all done in no time!

Heather - I am so glad that Joey is better! I am assuming that they are prescribing EMLA cream for his arm stick? It works pretty well, but he'll still feel the needle under the skin as it enters the vein. Still, it helps keep them still because they don't have the intial freak-out with the stick. Give him a hug (and a cookie) from me when it is over! And one for you too!

Becca - thanks for the helicoil thingy education. I am sure it will come in handy when I open Wilma's Hardware Emporium. It's my next venture, you know. Specializing in those cute little flowered hammers for your desktop. Want to go halvsies with me? We could also sell little Yukon Cornelius's that sing and lick pickaxes.

Angie - Here here for the Pie Hole shout out. It's been dead over there! Friday or Saturday work for me on MSN - what's the consensus?

Bonnie - Thanks for the diet coke the other morning - it was a life saver! Nice to hear that you are a non-coffee drinker too. Diet Coke is my lifeblood! I knew I liked you:hug:

Judi - what's up, hag? Tell mom that Nurse Ratchet is on the way!:bitelip:

Julie - see what happens when we brag on these doggies? I agree with your solution - this duty needs to be given to your DH. Especially if he has his own pee walk!:) Linus says Atlas should take a Benadryl. Better living through sleeping pills.;)

Hi Tricia and Rella! Looking forward to hump day?

Good Tuesday morning to ya', Sassies!!

We (Atlas & me) were up at 4:27 this morning and it is about time for me to go back to bed for a couple of hours. (Wilma, tell Linus the Benadryl comment cracked me up!) Then I have to finish gathering everything we need for today at the motorcycle rally. Atlas gets to go. He went with us before and once he got used to the sound of Harleys, he slept most of the day.

I like coffee in the morning,

although in the summer I can tend to pass it up for some Iced Tea...

When I am happiest though is when I allow myself to have

and it HAS to be in a can!!

I hope you ALL have a fantabulous day!!!!

Morning, Sassies! :hippie:

DH had to drive to my work a few minutes ago and swap me keys. I forgot I was supposed to take the piece of crap car today, cause he needed the good one to drive to work today. He's not riding with his van pool today cause he has softball games after work.

After work, I'm taking the girls to the $1 kid movie that our theater does every Wednesday at 10:00. Today is Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. We've never seen that one! Then at 1:30 I have a hair appt.

Hey, Bex! how did your appointment go? Did you get it done the same way? My appt is TODAY, so you and I are simpatico! Mine hasn't been done since before Chicago either. Post a pic of your hair, hag!

How funny-I haven't had mine done either, and my roots are hideous!! I may have to pull out the old box of Clairol-$140 for a cut and dye aren't really in the budget right now! :worried:

Well get ta steppin' Angus! Ya can't have roots! Nothing wrong with Clairol! What color do you plan on getting? And since you have a simpler cut, you could always try the beauty college! They give out cheap ones! I am thinking about looking into the beauty college for a facial or massage.

Joey's doctor called today. I have to take him back in for more bloodwork on Thursday to make sure everything is really back to normal. Aww....good luck with that, Heather! Good idea about the numbing medicine!

You are only just now realizing it? ;)

and :rotfl2: on the initiation! You make me roll. But...three smeasley chocolates? I think I'd prefer a few more truffles on my doily! :goodvibes

Hey there, Julie! So which beverage are you drinking this morning? I'm drinking my uzh...a diet coke fountain drink from McDonald's.

Ok, I am trying to assist Angie in reviving the Pie Hole. So I started a couple new threads over there. If we all start new threads and post on each others that place will be crack-a-lackin' in no time! :hyper:

Good morning Sassys! Today we are going to the local museum and playground. Gotta get these boys out and about.

My hair is a little different, it has a few less blonde highlights and lots of red highlights that are pretty bright. I love it more than last time, I think its my favorite and I hope she can recreate it next time! The best deal is I'm going to start watching her oldest son a few days a week and she didn't charge me a darn thing because of that. Its an easy gig since he and Brendan are good friends so I'm getting the best end of the deal if you ask me!

Heather, I hope that works for Joey! I wish they would give it to me when I have blood drawn since they usually use me as a pin cushion before finding a vein willing to give up blood!

Julie, I hope Atlas has fun at the motorcycle rally. Make sure you put a tip basket out for him, since he's so cute people should pay for the privelage of looking at him!

Wilma, you are a nutter! Your initiation is so funny, but I agree with Bon we need more chocolate.

Bonnie, here I thought I was waiting way too long to get my hair touched up. I'm glad we are in sync! I will post a pic at the pie hole when I get a chance. I loooooovvvvve it though!

Hi Judi! Top o' the mornin' to ya. Did I sound Irish? :shamrock:

Bex, I'm so glad you love your hair! We hags always feel so much better when our hair looks good! You know what's funny is that I get the most compliments on my hair when it is all raggedy and the color has faded and I have roots! I'm thinking that must mean people like my hair a little longer and a lighter shade? :confused3 Can't wait to see a pic of yours!

Good morning Judi! What's Cole up to today? You could send her down today or tomorrow and she could go to Chicago with us on Friday.

Bonnie, I do feel better when I get my hair done. I wasn't always so brave, now I am chemically addicted.:rotfl2: Are you getting yours done the same as before or are you going for a new look? Have fun at Mr. Magorium, its cute.

Yep, gettin' my same old 'do. I'm liking it still, so until I find one I like better, I'm sticking with it! I've had some unflattering haircuts that I loved in the hairstyle magazine but that did not end up looking so hot on me!

I understand, the same thing has happened to me! I have been going to Maria for a long time now and have never not liked what she has done so I'll stick with her and her judgement. She gave my neighbor a super cute cut last night she looks so much younger and chic.

Morning Ladies

Cole is at her dads this week. :( Got all these loverly new drugs for mom.
If I could get pay by pill, I'd be rich.

Told Mr. Judi, he sould dye my hair Nicole Halloween red, whatch think :rotfl2:

I'm thinking about going to someone new...Edward Scissorhands. Did you see some of those funky hairdo's he did in the movie?

Morning Heather, How are the kidlets today? Have you caught up on your sleep yet?

I think that would be lovely Judi! I think I may have some of that red right now actually. Just not on my whole head.

He did some great dos. I would let Johnny Depp cut my hair anyday as long as he didn't look like Edward Scissorhands.

Good Morning!

Good morning Heather!
