Bloody 'el, Where is the caffeine!

I have decided that the solution to my early morning driving issue is to teach Atlas how to drive. He's a smart pup, I am sure he'll catch on! Julie, have him report each afternoon at 3 for driving school.:thumbsup2

Have a great morning, Sassies!

WILMA!!!!!!!

Hey I just made a pot of coffee --- Here you go!!

Mornin' Sassies!!!

In keeping with the chicken theme....

My "best friend" :dog2: and I were up again at 4:30 today. Since I had to get up to get ready for the rally at 6:30, I decided just to stay up so I wouldn't feel worse. :headache:

Well, I am not sure I am buying that line of poo from myself. But I did make a pot of coffee, ate a Bagelful, started washing some dishes, and threw some junk mail away. So I did accomplish something. :)

Hey have any of you tried the Bagelfuls??

bagelfuls.jpg

I really like them. They are basically bagel tubes stuffed with cream cheese. I've had the regular, chive, and whole wheat. They also make strawberry and cinnamon.

Angie, you were so right about Atlas drawing a crowd at the rally. He so loved the attention. He would bark at big burly guys, who would then come over a gush all over him. He drew women in even more so... I need to figure out how to implement Becca's plan of a tip jar...

Wilma,
I think teaching Atlas to drive would be fabulous!! Be sure to include details of when to do what in which seat as I am training him to sleep in the car. But since he doesn't sleep in the driver's seat, he shouldn't be too confused!!!!

I think we also should teach him how to run the sweeper, fold clothes, and buy groceries. I need a housekeeper and he would be perfect. He could come visit you all and do the same for you.

I hope everyone has a Sassie-ful day!

Hey hags! Got another trip to the orthodontist! I'm gonna have to fork over $2200 today! I believe both girls (Heather and Caitlin) are getting their twin blocks put on today, but I could be wrong. Those are mouth-stretchers, for those of you as gimpy with ortho-lingo as I am. They promote jaw-widening so that there is more room for the crowded teeth. QUITE the contraption! At least I am HOPING they get them put on today! They had their molds made on Monday.

Got my hair done and I had her do the lowlights more brown, it's hardly red at all. Now I am kinda wishin' I told her to keep some of the red but just tone it down a little. Oh well, next time, right? My next appt is Aug 20.

Wilma, you sounded totally British when you said "Bloody 'el, Where is the caffeine!" And you know how I love British things! :thumbsup2

Bex, I am a little deflated about my hair color. It is apparently not as snazzy as yours. I wanna see a pic, lady!

Angus, got any cheese yet?

Tricia, way to get organized, hag! I went through my closets and chucked a lot of dookey that I don't wear. There is much more room now!

Julie, thanks for telling us about Bagelfuls! I can't say I had ever heard of them before now!

Judi, do you have any pics of you with pink or blue hair? Cause that is something I would love to see! Actually, come to think of it, I've never seen a pic of you and so ANY pic of you is something I would love to see!

(Julie, we ain't seen your pic either. Cough it up, lady! You can see everyone else's pics at the Pie Hole, on a sticky thread up at the top).

Heather, any word on the job? How is Joey, feeling better?

Yeah, hag, I know I need to cough up a pic.... I am just waiting for a flattering one!!! :rotfl: I don't think I have seen one of those in 20 years!!

Do what I do...take like fifty pics and then choose the best one. There's bound to be a good one among the bunch, or at least one that's less ugly! :thumbsup2

Maybe I'll get my DBiL to "help".... When he is bored at work, he takes photos like the casts from Goodtimes or WKRP in Cincinnati, etc. and inserts himself in it with photoshop. They are hysterical.... Maybe he can insert someone else in my place.... :rotfl:

Have a great one!!

We are OFF......

Good Thursday Morning

Wilma, I think you do need a vacation from this vacation. That was loud

Am I the loaner in never making it to the hole?

Carry on old chaps ;)

Happy Thursday Sassys! Today is my hell day, I'll be in and out of the car all day. Oh well, tomorrow we are going to have fun!

Julie, don't listen to Bonnie she takes great pics all the time. I do have one that I could post of her that isn't so flattering, but not that bad either! Angie is photogenic as well. Me, I hate having my pic taken and avoid it most of the time. Have a great time at the meet!

Bonnie, you toned the red down with brown? Brown is my natural color so I ain't to impressed with your decision. I'm just joshin I'm sure it looks spectacular!

Judi, when does Cole come home? I could use some help cleaning the basement if she needs some extra cash. I can't seem to get motivated to do it since I don't see it all the time.

Angie, whats up hag?

Tricia, what are you cleaning today? At this rate you'll have the cleanest house in the neighborhood!

Heather, how's Joey? I hope you are getting some rest!

Wilma, I think all dogs should learn to drive, sweep the floor and vacuum since its Speck's hair that I'm sweeping and vacuuming the most of anyway. I'm glad he doesn't shed like some dogs and its short hair so I shouldn't complain too loudly.

I'll see you on the flip side, maybe after the swim meet tonight!

Hi Becca! I just wanted the red to be a little less bold, I didn't ask for it to be brown!!

Good Morning!

Joey seems to be feeling better. He worried me a little yesterday because he was a little droopy. Today is the big day at the doctor's, so wish us luck:eek:

One little problem I am having is that he is drinking away his appetite. I need to find some balance. He has never been a particularly good eater anyway, so now it is extra bad.

Bonnie~~ So sorry you ahve to spend so much at the ortho today!:scared1: I need to get my kids to the dentist soon. Both girls have to have that contraption to widen their mouths? That is the one that goes on the roof of your mouth? I had one when I was youger.*shudder*...it sucked. FOr awhile I had a very hard time talking....like trying to talk with a hotwheel in your mouth. Don't laugh at them too hard.

My teeth were so nice and straight at the end of all those braces years, so it was worth it. I however am a really bad girl because I didn't wear my retainer and now my teeth are a little bit crooked again. *sigh* at least I am an adult now and my mom can't ground me....oh wait! Grounding me to my room doesn't sound half bad!

How is everyone doing today?

Oh Bonnie, what a bummer. That's a fistful of dollars, isn't it? I had one of those palate expanders when I was kid too. Used to have to lay on the floor while my mom used this key thingy to adjust the amount of expansion. Not comfortable, I must say. How do the girls feel about today?

Julie - I absolutely agree on the doggie chores idea. Linus has been secretly doing laundry for years, and the boys swear he can order bacon bits on the internet while we are away from the house.

Becca - what are the boys swimming tonight? Have fun on your crazy day!

Heather - don't worry about Joey's appetite - he'll eat when he's hungry. Pound those fluids, little dude! Good luck with the needle stick.

Judi - get thee to the Pie Hole! We have interesting banter going on, and you never want to miss that, do you?

Hi Angie and Tricia! What's up?

Hi Becca! I just wanted the red to be a little less bold, I didn't ask for it to be brown!!

Well okay then I guess thats acceptable. I think you should go bright red though like me. We could be so cool together, but now I'm cool alone.:cool1:

I feel for both of your girls. At least they will be suffering together. It wasn't so bad except on the days they would tighten them and when they first put them on. My lips were bleeding a lot for awhile. Both of my boys will need them too unfortunately.:(

Heather, I have a child who doesn't eat much either. He is picky, but he does drink a lot and he is healthy so I don't stress about it too much.

Wilma, they have their first swim meet of the summer season tonight. And Justin's first swim meet ever!

Bonnie, don't forget to give them tylenol before you go. It does help.

Becca, Cole comes home tomorrow night.

Mornin' Sassies!!!

Good one Julie!

Happy Thursday Morning everyone!! How's everyone doing??

I finally have a day off and thought I might catch some of you!

Nothing new here... just work, cook, shop, laundry, drive ds here and there and try to stay cool!

Anyone still around??? Or did I miss you all???

Wilma~ Ih ad the little key thingy too, but I had to turn it myself....talk about adding insult to injury:headache:

Hi Rella!

Grounding me to my room doesn't sound half bad!

How is everyone doing today?

Hi Heather! Yes, both girls need the contraption, on the upper and lower! But I wonder if they do both at the same time?

Oh Bonnie, what a bummer. That's a fistful of dollars, isn't it? I had one of those palate expanders when I was kid too. Used to have to lay on the floor while my mom used this key thingy to adjust the amount of expansion. Not comfortable, I must say. How do the girls feel about today?

Hi Angie and Tricia! What's up?

Hi Wilma! Yep, we are going to have to do the key thing too! The girls are fine with it, they don't know how much it's gonna hurt yet! But like I said, I ain't positive they are gettign them put on today.
Well okay then I guess thats acceptable. I think you should go bright red though like me. We could be so cool together, but now I'm cool alone.:cool1:

Just how red IS your hair? Tomato red? Blood red? Black cherry red?

Bonnie, don't forget to give them tylenol before you go. It does help.

Becca, Cole comes home tomorrow night.

good idea! I will be sure to give them some pain releiver!!

I bet if you pulled out the French cookbook of yours you could get that frog to do chores too!! I wonder if it would work for toads?:rotfl2: We would have a whole team of cleaners::yes::
