"Happy, happy birthday
from all of us to you,
we wish it was our birthday
so we could party too!!!" :rotfl::banana:

Hi dear - I so enjoy reading your planning journal. . . love the dance picture. . . you rock, neice!!!!! Love You!:maleficen

Well I'm a bad news first kinda girl, so here goes...
We are cancelling our PS/Tasting to save that money for the wedding. When all is said and done it would have cost me about 1200 total...I dont know about you, but thats two more hours of a bar (not that were using it, 5 hours is PLENTY!), a confetti cannon and major domo, Lamborghini Gallardo (rental), half of a DP....you guys see where Im going dont you? So Im pretty bummed about that but also excited to save the money. I also am having bad luck with shoes..the ones I bought online just didnt match the color..the size is what I was worried about and that was fine, but the color was just OFF! So those are a no go...bummer!

This next one is bad/good news....
I have lost one person to stand next to me, one of my Matron's of Honor who is also one of my favorite cousins wont be able to come to the wedding..because SHE'S PREGNANT!! I may be a little selfish here and there but Im smart enough to know a baby is WAAAYY more important than my day. Yes, Im disappointed she wont be there with me/for me but I'm more excited for her because its a little more important..lol! I was a MOH for her wedding a few years back and have always looked up to her so it is a little bittersweet. She's still going to do everything she would have as a MOH but she just wont be there on the actual day, and depending on when she gives birth it might mean that her mom (my...ahemfavoriteahem...aunt and uncle)wont be able to come either. Sooo I think I will add the live streaming package with STVS so they can watch it and "be there" with us!

And the Good News:
I've been shopping!!! and depending on who you ask, that could be bad news! :rotfl:Here are some new developments
We got my rehearsal dinner dress! I've had my eye on it for a few months now but Mom went ahead and bought it the other day..gotta love Mom!

The rehearsal dinner is booked! DF's parents booked it the other day at Texas de Brazil off of I-drive. We will have a private room and private meat servers (whats their job title?) from 5:30-7:30. DFs mom did that so we could have enough time for a DP if I wanted one.. very thoughtful of her! Though Im not sure we can swing it..

We went and looked at wedding rings a few weekends back. And DF fell in love with one, it was on sale so I snagged it. Its a Scott Kay Palladium, which is in the Platinum family but has a white gold price tag..its pretty heavy and when it wears it gets a little darker which Im sure is more masculine for him.
bobbysring-1.jpg

I found something for me!! Since my ring is so intricate on its own it would be hard to find a perfect match, so we are going to get something I can wear on my right hand and switch to my left when needed or desired..like vacations, etc. I will have two of these, they are connected at the bottom..the Jared website didnt have a picture of the exact one but this is as close as I can get...theyre dainty and feminine but still wedding band-y.

I bought a Newlywed bikini for our honeymoon!

DF really really really wants to rent a Lamborghini for our transportation on the day..theyre very affordable but the deposit is $2500! :scared1: Yes you get it back but coming up with it is the problem..so its a maybe at this point..Heres some pictures for fun! ;) I think they would make some awesome photos!!

For pre-reception decor we are doing the same thing as the table centerpieces but on a smaller scale with these, we will just put one in the center of every tallboy

I was wandering around Michaels the other day and started to think about programs..here are a few I like...please tell me which ones yall think will go best for our day!!

Option 1

Option 2

Option 3
IMAG0104.jpg

Option 3 is my favorite so far, but I dont know!! What do you guys think?

Mom and I found a place that does silk bouquets for a great price..so we ordered them. Some of the pictures look great and some look less great. We should get them in about a week and will make up our mind as to whether or not were going to keep them or return them. We ordered white ones for my girls (who will be in black) and red for me.

Part of me thinks they look great but a little part of me is worried they look crappy...here's to hoping they look awesome when they come in. What do you think?

I would like to buy these for the tables maybe one or two per table just to add to the fun and get some cool shots too..plus they fit the theme!!

I am rethinking favors, I really like Rebecca's (SaidYes) idea of filling champagne glasses with candy wrapped in her color but I think the champagne glasses may be out of my budget..we were thinking personalized stemless wine glasses but thats a lot of shipping and alot of risk of breaking too..:confused3 so Im back to square one...ideas?
I have also been thinking about gifts for BMs lately..I bought them personalized bags and cosmetic bags, as well as a few things here and there but I was hoping to make it a beauty bag or something girly like that..I was thinking a bunch of different beauty samples would be cool but I dont know where to get them for a not so crazy price..this may or may not come to fruition..who knows! And Im clueless on FG gifts..just clueless!

Im pretty sure thats all the new developments as of now...whew its a bunch! :guilty:

My To-Do List is still pretty out of control...

Buy Cinderella Cameras (if we do them)

Narrow down choices for cake and menu

SO NOW YOUR JOB IS THIS: Tell me which programs you like best, your HONEST opinion on the silk bouquets, and if you have any ideas for favors? :cutie:

I love everything, YOUR DRESS IS GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the Silk bouquets look really nice!

Can I ask were you plan on (if you go through) renting the sports car, DF wants on sooo bad as a real car one day but I think this would be a great surprise for him to have this for pictures and such, if you can PM the info and if it's over night rental or what. Thanks!!

For the programs I LOVE option number 1!!!! So pretty and elegant and different than just your ordinary programs! Can't wait to see what you decide!!

i've been prepared for an update all day... but not one THAT big!
((setting project aside, climbing up on soap-box))

i liked the first programs. i liked all of them, but the first ones spoke to me. the rehearsal dress... sooooo pretty!! i love it!! boo on the shoes, you'll find them.

i want 2 bands too... mine are the same idea, just little princess cuts instead of round.

dave wants baxter smuggled into the wedding, bobby wants a lambo..... they all have dreams :lmao: at least yours is closer to a reality than his!

funny... we looked at champagne glasses too... but we're scared they'll break either in our travel or our guest's travels home. that's where i got the idea of just getting wine so they could drink it while on vaca...$7800 later  that was a bad idea. i can't believe i read that so wrong :sad2:

maybe i'm having too much fun on my soap-box, but i think i would save my money on the disposable cameras. everyone there will probably bring their own digi, and if you need to edit them, you'll have to develop, scan, edit, etc. plus once the lights go down for dancing it'll be hard to get quality shots on there. just my opinion... you could spend the $$ elsewhere i think :(

i like the red bouquets better than the white for sure. i think i'll have to see the finished product to have a better opinion.

for your bridesmaids/flower girls........ tell me how many you have. i may know someone that knows someone that knows someone who has access to cosmetic stuff :rolleyes1 depending on the age of your flowergirls, i bought some disney puzzles and coloring books when i thought we were having a wedding party... but we're not... and i don't have time to color

let me know if you need anything!!!

Thank you! Thank you! I love it too! (And I love yours too! I just havent made it back over there to post anything yet!) It is Orlando Exotic Car Rentals .com..all one word. It is 699 for 24 hours and 100 miles/day limit but the deposit is 2500..kinda steep. We'll see. Thanks for your program vote! I have to admit its between 1 and 3 for me. 1 is at hobby lobby and so lovely! but it has bad reviews, which scares me..:confused3 we shall see!

you know, i hadnt even thought about the digital cameras that EVERYONE has these days! your so right! you just saved me about 200 bucks! wine/champagne glasses breaking are my concern as well..im stuck. oooh i didnt even think about anyone maybe knowing someone that knows someone that knows someone..good idea! i will have 6 maids, 1 junior maid, and 3 flowergirls. my junior maid will be 8 by then and my flowergirls will be 4,4, and 5. A pretty good range I'd say! Let me know what you have maybe we can work some sort of arrangement out!! ;)

Oh and I think Baxter would be the perfect addition to your day! I volunteer to be the designated leash holder during the ceremony! :)

OMG! So much going on!!!

And I missed your birthday so HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!!!

I think I like program #3 best, #1 second best.

Funny thing, we actually aren't doing the champagne glass favors anymore either lol. I still love them, but I can't find affordable champagne glasses that are attractive enough to me. We are doing the caricaturist which is the main favor and then clear boxes with 3 of those gold rochelle truffles with a pretty gold ribbon around the box. I am actually working on these this weekend or next so I will let you know how it comes out (with pictures). theknot.com has great ideas for favors. I particularly like looking through them because they are all real ideas from real brides, as opposed to those online favor stores that have 'cookie cutter' favors.

I love your rehearsal dinner dress! SO CUTE! For shoes.... try ideeli.com, you have to sign up but I KNOW right now they are having a huge sale on wedding shoes (i'm talking designer brands). I think the sale is still on for a few more hours at least. I actually got my bachelorette party and potential brunch dress from there this morning (BCBG half off!!!!!!!).

I really like the camera idea myself but we actually decided to put them out at the dessert party (particularly since we won't have a prof photographer there) and this way people will be more inclined to use them as it will be serving as a bit of a welcome party for us where distant relatives haven't been together in a while. Just an idea if you end up doing one too.

That's actually a great idea not making that trip and saving the money. You KNOW all the food at Disney is fabulous so you need not worry there. To be honest, I think I changed my mind on almost everything I decided on at the planning session anyway with the exception of a couple things so it was as if I planned it all through email and phone calls anyway.

BTW, you look BEAUTIFUL in those pics from your friends wedding!!! Have you lost more weight????!!!!! You look awesome!!!

Hi Sarah!
Hope you had a fabulous birthday! I'm sorry you had to cancel your planning session- but yay for all that money saved for the wedding! We are fortunate that my parents are coming with us for ours and are paying for it. I posted the menu items we are going to tast on my PJ and I will be sure to tell you how everything is after July. For the programs I like the third choice the best, very pretty! The silk bouquets look pretty but you'll have to see how they look in person to be sure. Oh and I absolutely love the rehearsal dress, it is so pretty. Beautiful rings too! So many great updates!!

Ps- that car is killer! My fiancé would die for that, it is his dream car. But I will not give up my carriage! Maybe for our anniversary! Do they do half day rentals?

Everything looks amazing!! I love that dress!!
I like program #1. It looks so simple and elegant :)
Awesome car!! I think any man would love that!!! haha!

I love your rehearsal dinner dress, it is so pretty!! Your band is very similar to mine...except I was told that I could only have one. LOL I do think DF mentioned something about another one for our 5 year anniversary...or I could just be making that up. :rotfl:

I vote for program #1 and #3 would be my second choice. I cant wait to see how the flowers turn out when they come in. I really like the red bouquet, it is very vibrant!

Holy, moly with the updates!! :lmao:

- Looooove your rehearsal dress!
- Bummer about your shoes... at least you found a pair you liked! I can't find ANYTHING that I'm willing to purchase for my day of attire.
- Programs.. I like 1 or 3.. but 3 a little bit more? :goodvibes
- BM gifts.. what's your budget? I have ridonculous ideas for mine.. hah. I need to hit the lottery! :rotfl: I am customizing Old Navy flip flops for all of them though.
- Flower girl gifts- I've been looking into getting her pretty Disney earrings, princess wand that matches our wedding colors (possibly diy), and not really sure what else yet.. I'm at a blank. But I thankfully have plenty of time!

Hope that helps luv! :goodvibes :goodvibes

Hi Sarah!
I just found your PJ and am amazed at how much you've got done! We have a little over a month until our wedding and you are WAAAY ahead of us! I super love your shoes. They are so close to what I want. I am not having that "this is awesome" feeling about my actual dress anymore, but I am hoping that finding the right shoes and accessories will help.

About doing an extra event for your guests, we decided to do a welcome reception in a suite in the Grand (we're having our ceremony at the WP at 10am and lunch reception in Narcoosee's at noon). The welcome reception will be Weds. before the wedding and because it's in a suite, I'll be able to stay there with my sisters (bridesmaid & MOH) and brother the night before the wedding also. Our florist said that she would try to get the fresh floral (comp with the suite) to match our wedding floral without clashing with the Grand's colour palette. Also because it's our suite, we can bring in all the food and such ourselves, so we are hoping to hit up some places for food platters and Costco or something for sodas. We're also going to do a candy buffet which is turning out to be pretty inexpensive because my Mom's been scouring candy sites after Valentine's day and St. Patty's (our colours are pink and green) and we got apothecary jars from friends and Michael's with coupons! :)

Option #1 is my favorite, option #3 is second. You will find the shoes, you have time.

I love you very much and can't wait to see you as the most beautiful bride ever. I'm not biased, just in love with my daughter!:lovestruc

Just catching up with your pj. So many updates!

I like #3 too and I LOVE your rehearsal dress - gorgeous.

I showed Chris the car shots and he was almost drooling. We would love to do this too but that deposit sure is steep. That would be all the honeymoon spends and then some!
