Totally cruising the comments, looking for any midwesterners / Dorothy Lynch fans.

We are currently in a southwest salad mood in our house, so its a lot of chipotle ranch or salsas for dressing

@megsters, I used to love Dorothy Lynch when I visited my grandparents! I haven't looked for quite a few years, but I used to be able to find it at Walmart on the West Coast. I'll have to go look for it.

Is there a real Ken that's behind Ken's Salad Dressing? Because I know that there used to be Ken's Steakhouse Restaurants and the guy named Ken who founded the Ken's Steakhouse chain also created Ken's Salad Dressing too. What's the story behind the history of Ken's Salad Dressing?

When I was younger I usually went for French, Russian or Thousand Island. For quite a few years now I have been using oil and vinegar or a vinaigrette (red wine, balsamic…). Though I do occasionally have Caesar salad.

Love a good Greek Salad.
Sometimes Thousand Island
Chic fil a Avocado Lime Ranch is delicious on their wraps. And I've got it in the fridge for regular green salads.
Love a strawberry pecan salad with raspberry vinaigrette. Long horn Steakhouse is my favorite.
There's also a good champagne dressing I like
Keep ranch on hand for company
Dh likes honey mustard
Catalina dressing on pizza is a regional thing here, so we keep it in hand for pizza
And sometimes just a splash of a good flavored balsamic vinegar is just the thing


I wish bottled dressings came in even smaller bottles, because my taste changes before I finish a bottle

......I too voted "other" but because I make my own - extra virgin olive oil. salt, fresh-ground pepper, garlic powder, and lemon juice.

I voted ranch but probably should have voted "other" because I like Italian just as much. I can only have ranch if it is listed as vegan or my homemade dairy free.

There's a local mom and pop Greek takeout place near us that makes their own Greek dressing and it's our favorite. About 5 years ago they took a lot of peoples advice and started bottling and selling it at the store. It sells out every week and it's the only salad dressing I will use at home. If out to eat and the meal comes with a salad I usually just get Italian.

Peppercorn Parmesan is my favorite either way Caesar coming in second, then Italian. They’re the only ones I like. The salad at Trails End in Fort wilderness used to have this bacon vinaigrette dressing that was amazing, but now that it’s quick service I’m assuming it’s gone.

My wife hates liver. My wife loves Braunschweiger. When I pointed out that Braunschweiger is liver......she said, "it's too good to be liver"

Well I wouldn't say I love Braunschweiger, but I have had it and didn't hate it and would have it again. But I'd never touch liver. So now I need to rethink Braunschweiger. I didn't know that is what it was.

Well I wouldn't say I love Braunschweiger, but I have had it and didn't hate it and would have it again. But I'd never touch liver. So now I need to rethink Braunschweiger. I didn't know that is what it was.

LOL. Maybe you should try liver. Just think of it as the main ingredient in Braunschweiger.

I voted ranch for the versatility. Lately we've been buying a bacon one!

But I also like blue cheese, and sometimes Italian or honey mustard.
