Parking fee question

Hello all,
Sorry for another, possibly dumb or irritating, question.

I'm seeing conflicting information so thought I'd ask the experts...

We're staying at the WDW Dolphin in August (never stayed at this hotel before).

Do guests have to pay for parking now?

The Disney Holidays site says no:
"Do I need to pay for parking at Disney Resort hotels?
Overnight self-parking is complimentary for Guests staying at our Disney Resort hotels."

But I've seen elsewhere that it's something like $36 per day.

Also, do hotel guests have to pay for theme park parking now too? In 2018, it was free for both for hotel guests.

Part of your confusion might be that Dolphin is not a Disney Resort hotel - it is owned by Marriott/Sheraton. So, they (Marriott) sets the rules and what you posted does not apply. You need to go by what the hotel's website says (https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/mcosi-walt-disney-world-dolphin/overview/)



So, you pay at the hotel but do not pay at the resorts.

You also pay a resort fee that the Disney owned resorts don’t have.

Yes on parking fee and also resort fee. It makes their nightly cost go up about $100 per.

The Swan/Dolphin website now shows room pricing which includes the resort fee. I like it much better this way.

I stayed for 3 nights (not through choice) as part of a split stay in 2017 and I didn't get charged for the parking. Must have been an error on their part.

It was. They definitely charge for parking.
