Sake's Alive! AKL Lite V!!

I will be making my first stay there at Kidani Village, July 22-29. Can't wait. First time staying on Disney property since I was a child (25+ years ago). I've been to AKL once to eat at Boma, but that was 8 years ago. Also will be buying annual passes for this trip, so plan to go down to Disney more frequently over the next year. Its been since Christmas of 08 since my last trip.

*sigh* here i am again obsessing over details... right now i'm trying to decide if i want to cancel my narcoossees adr's and instead and have a lunch one day at beaches and cream (i really want to go for the ice-cream sodas) and then a dinner at raglan road.(dh and i ate here last year and everything was good but the bread pudding was to die for) I also have ressies for HBD, Artist Point and Jiko (this one is just for dh and i to celebrate our 13 annv) We do have 4 kids ages 15, 10, 5 and 2 so i'm thinking the 2nd option might be better... idunno whadaya think?

Just stopping in to say hello! We're headed for AKL July 14 for seven nights! I am so excited. I fell in love with AKL the first moment I walked into that lobby and I cannot believe that I am going to be staying there in a little over three months. Now, I just want to absorb as much information about AKL as I possibly can between now and then.

tinacaplan looks like we will be there the same time This will be our first trip and AKL just seems like the place for my daughter and I. Helps that I was able to take advantage of a discount to upgrade woohoo can't wait.

I'm staying at AKL for the first time this summer. DH & I have visited before for dinner, but never stayed there. We usually stay at the Poly or CR, although DD & I recently did a split between WL and BWI-CL. So now we are branching out again for another girls trip w/ Dsis and DNiece. We let the 9yo pick and the animals won out, so we'll be in a Savanna view at AKL from 8/14-17.

I hope to be popping in and out of this thread in anticipation of our trip. Y'all seem like a really friendly bunch

My ds 5 is crazy for animals and I cannot wait to see his reaction! Last time we didn't get very familar with the resort so I am eager to learn new things AKL has to offer. WOW when I see that map it brings all the memories back of how BIG that resort is.

Our trip in December, my mom was on the far end of Kudo Trail and we were on the opposite end on the Zebra trail.
