Considering a trip next Jan during marathon week and curious how 'bad', or not, the crowds have been this past week.
We're an older couple, would be staying at an Epcot resort and taking busses/boats/skyliner/walking to parks, with usually rope dropping mornings and laying low late afternoons with our adr dinners being the focus.
Is it a week to avoid completely like Christmas to New Years, or is more manageable if we're willing to zig when they zag?
I last ran the DW marathon in 2003 so those days are long behind me, but remember the runners were usually doing more resting than anything else back then, and were certainly great people to have in the parks.... but that was before they added the 5k and 10k, so..??
Thanks in advance for any thoughts or advice, and hope you all are having a magical day!
