Indians fan. Poor me and my Cleveland teams sigh. Our opening day is today- gave the kids a baseball party with cracker jacks, hot dogs, soft pretzels, and root beer. That's about the extent of my excitement today.

It's 10:30pm here in i'm up here stalking the boards and mentally going over my whole trip plus trying to figure out which customs i want to make for which kids. I also go over the budget every day to make sure we'll have enough saved by the 15th to purchase the dining plan... Please tell me i'm not the only one who obsesses like this? I think the thing that makes it worse is that my dh (who is military) finally got his orders and turns out he has to report to his new job June 1st. Sooooo instead of going on vacay and coming home we'll drive from Tn down to wdw then drive to Tx from there, where we'll have to find a house and get moved in. This also means that instead of leaving the cat at home we'll have to take her with us and kennel her at wdw....one more thing for me to obsess about lol.

Please tell me i'm not the only one who obsesses like this?

Definitely not! I'm on here right now and usually on here every night after the kids go to bed. I go over everything again and again, trying to make sure I really want to stick with the ADRs I made, wondering which parks we're going to do on which day, what to order for breakfast, what to pack. Also wondering about customs but luckily about of 4 kids I only have 1 who is young enough to still let me dress her so it's not as bad. I still have 2 months until vacation and I think I'm going to be a basketcase before we leave!
It also doesn't help that we've never been to Disney so I have no idea what I'm doing AND we aren't telling the kids until we get to Orlando (they think we're going to Miami) and I so want to spill the beans but can't wait to see their shocked faces all at the same time!

I am now arriving Thursday afternoon on May 5th and leaving on sunday May 8th. That gives me an extra afternoon/evening at AKL. Hurrah!

Just upgraded to the AKL Kidani for Aug 10=14 This will be such a big surprise for DS. I cannot wait, I am so excited! August seems like an eternity away

New AKL guest... we are staying for our first time here Aug 20-31....
Hoping it will be all that I am dreaming about.
We usually stay at CBR and love it there.
But we wanted to try something new and so we picked AKL.

Anyone else going to be there in mid August?

I took my laptop last year and left it on the desk in the room and no one ever touched it. I felt it was safe being there.

I never worried about mine either. No matter the resort, we have stayed at Pop, CBR, POFQ, and AKL. All were very professional and safe and overly nice.

I have a habit of taking all our change on vacation and put it in a ziploc baggie. First its all together because it gets heavy, second it pays for pizza the night we get home.

So last visit, the Mousekeeper made us an elaborate towel animal to care for and hold my change. Every cent was there. Not a penny missing.

Hope this helps to ease your mind.

And for the record self = ME, I would never diagnose others, I am just a DisDoctor, DisTherapist, etc. I just play one online, in real life I am just plain obsessed.

We booked via ebay and our seller dissapeared from the face of the earth! 12 negatives later ebay banned him as a seller and he won't return phone calls. I still have a reservation though. Police dept in Florida where he lists his city of residence is telling us to have a back up plan just incase. Not sure what to do right now. Wing it and hope he doesn't cancel at the last minute or book a back up plan?
