we leave tomorrow for Vegas and I was wondering what kind of (if any ) food you can bring on board

since this a longer flight then going to WDW we bought some of those snack packs

pretzels and cheese dip and cheese and crackers packs

would a few of these be ok to bring--I can pack them in our checked since were planning on a side trip to the grand canyon and are taking them on the bus

thanks all

Everything you mentioned is fine on board except the cheese dip, hard cheese is fine though. Liquids and gels (anything that can't hold its shape outside the container) are subject to the 3-1-1 rule. Must be in a container less than 3.4oz and fit into a 1 quart zip lock bag, 1 bag per passenger.

We always pack a lunch for air travel, sandwich, crackers and cheese, fruit, pretzels, carrots or cherry tomatoes and I freeze grapes in a ziplock for an ice pack. We then purchase drinks after security so we have what we like when we want it and we don't have to wait on the FA's to serve.

The cheese and cracker packs are fine in your checked bag - even with the cheese dip:)

check out tsa.gov for the most up to date info on what you can and can't bring through security.

thanks for the fast answer

Ill put the cheese and crackers snack pack in the checked and since I have in the carryon I can put the rest in there

thanks again
