Today I planned my whole morning around being at my computer at exactly 8am, and not one second later than that so I could try my luck with Ticketmaster for general public sales of the 2010 Rose Bowl. Nothing. Gone. Just gone. (Not even "gone in 60 seconds.")
After a few minutes of futility, I google "Rose Bowl Tickets" and there are brokers with over 20 tickets - actual seat numbers and everything, at double the price. Now, I know this is probably news to no one....but here's my complaint:
If Tickets are limited to 2 per transaction, 4 per buyer....how did they get so many seats? And have them listed online?
Yes - I could have paid the broker - but it just makes me sick. "It's the principle of the thing," as my Dad would say. So, I'll stay home and watch it on television.
Hopefully, my kid had better luck with the student lottery.
Yes, I know it is the same complaint so many people have had in the past, but I was really kind of hoping.
