Room-Only and VP Booking Windows?

I'd like to book:

• one night on 1 April 2025
• two-night VP for 2-4 April 2025

When will my booking windows open? Is it still 90 days at this point?, for both room only AND VPs? I'd have to make two separate bookings, correct? Could I get my VP paraphernalia on 1 April for the 2 April start date, so we can hit the ground running at DL on the first morning of our VP?

Room only booking opens at exactly 4 months before the check-in date.

VP booking is around five months but the exact booking date is announced on the website about a week in advance so you have to pay attention. For example, vacation packages for most of January opened on August 6.

Good Info from MikeOhio. Make sure you know the exact date and you're online ready to go when the window opens, which will be approximately 1/2AM ET for the packages. The exact time the window opens is available on the TDR site.

We've heard some mixed reports, but it appears if you have a VP that starts 4/2, you can get your tickets and passes that morning at the resort you booked the package. They still do a lot of paper tickets, so that might have something to do with presenting them the first morning. Good luck with your planning.

Only a certain number of rooms are released for vacation packages so they do hold them back. But note it’s generally easier to get a room with a vacation package than at the four month room only window.

Liked @MikeOhio said, only a certain amount are allocated for VP's. I had the impression from my recent bookings that it isn't a huge amount either. It seemed easier to get just the hotel, time wise, than the VP for what it is worth.

Mentioned above, the room only reservations are exactly 4 months out. And if Jan VPs opened on August 6, it's likely the Feb VPs will be open for booking somewhere around Sept 4,5,6 timeframe. You can verify on their site. If you're going to the trouble of booking in the early morning in the US, one piece of advice - make sure you are logged into the Disney account before moving forward with the reservation. And don't be alarmed when there is a wait queue to let you into the site - it could be 5 minutes, it could be an hour. I'd highly recommend you do a trial run at some point so you're familiar with the steps. You don't pay until the end of the booking process.

If you're looking for an April VP, you're probably looking at early November for their availability, probably 4,5,6 of Nov. Currently, that timing in 2AM ET for booking to open, but keep in mind the clocks change in the US on November 3, so you'll have to adjust if that's when you're looking to book.
