Dudette#1: I hope you have luck finding someone to watchyour kitty. We ask our neighbor to watch our babies (1 cat - Tinkerbell, 1 dog - Reilly, and about 8 fish). We always bring her back something Disney and give her a gift certificate to a local restaurant. So we take good care of her. So I wish you luck! Keep us posted.

Thanks for the tip on the $10 movies. I went there and I think I bought a copy of almost everything on DVD they had. Some Christmas presents!! Yeah! I might go back tomorrow for more! Yeah!

Well, after reading my wife's post, I think the "w" word was directed toward me and the 25 pounds I've put on since hurting my knee. Well, I just can't ignore the facts, so....

I will ask my neighbor if she will take in the cat. She had to put her's to sleep last month and she does love Perditta. Wish me luck. Otherwise it looks like a kennel for her. I thought about the vet but they bring out the shoulder length leather gloves when she goes there. She behaves like the cat from H_ _ _ when she is there. They walk past the cage and she growls and hisses. I'm afraid she would do the same in a kennel. I call her Dr Jeckel & Miss Hyde!
No other relatives in the area and son lives 50 miles away with 2 cats.

Good morning all!

Bonnie: We use a petsitter for our 2 babies. We got the name from our vets office. They have a bulletin board with stuff like that on it. She is terrific. Make sure they are insured and bonded, certified in animal CPR, and know how to give medicine. Our Ollie has asthma (just like his mommie) and requires theophylline on a daily basis, although we are going to try QOD for this trip. She has permission to come more often if she notices him coughing.

Also, Jerry got the horn to work for the e-mail notification. I'll probably only keep it until we cruise, then switch back, or to something else. I have a ton of Disney wav files.

Do you know there have been 3 posts since I have been typing this?

We went to see Sweet Home Alabama last night, cute and funny movie, just what I needed. Of course the movie review in the paper said the movie was awful, but I take what she says with a grain of salt: she doesn't like Disney movies and only likes the weird ones.

I am too tired to play the game, I can't think straight. Sorry!

We went to see Sweet Home Alabama last night too. I thought it was a cute movie.

Don't go to the Disney Store for the video's, they cancelled the sale yesterday afternoon. It was on for less then a day. Why they do this, I don't know

Dreams:I loved the list, I do have a problem pointing with 1 finger

Pets: we have 1 cat and a saltwater fish tank. We have great neighbors who come over and take care of them.

My next door neighbor has agreed to take in Perditta while cruisin'!
My cat will be better off there than with my mom so everything works out well. I will have to find something VERY NICE for Rita & Ray. They do take good care of me and I know they will take the best care of Perditta. She will be spoiled rotten and probably won't want to come home! That Crisis over.

Denine started to get a little worried 'cause I didn't notice any posts yeaterday. Glad to hear you got the horn working! I love it but agree that I will probably change it within a month of coming home. 2 weeks for you. Can you stand it!

Well gotta get some things done so I can start sewing the summer clothes to make them fit.

I was wearing a one shouldered gown with diagonal stripes but now I have a jumpsuit with gold and black jacket that I am debating about. I'll bring both and decide that day! I belong to Overpackers Anonymous.

Starting the last minute pick ups now.

Look-21 days! 2 more days and we'll be in the teens!

Bought 3 DVDs anyway - I'm a sucker when I go in that store.

I have a cat, Abby, and she will be staying home alone. She prefers it that way. She will probably sleep the whole time. I do have someone coming in to check on her and her food and water situation while we away.

Speaking of dresses, you know Sandy ... that SHY one? Well, she has loaned me a formal gown that is absolutely gorgeous, and absolutely strapless! I have NEVER worn a strapless gown in my life and I'm terrified (in a daring fun way-you know, like riding a rollercoaster) of wearing one. My DH loves it, maybe because it fell a bit too much when I tried it on. So I ask you all. Do bad things ever really happen with strapless gowns in public, or am I being paranoid? I just have this haunting vision of me wearing it to the captains gala, seeing an opportunity to go meet the big guy, gliding across the room like Princess Grace, extending my arm to shake his hand and say" Hello, I'm Lori ...oh... uu... and yes, these are my boobs!"

How do you follow something like that? "We're all very pleased to meet you"?

When I was in college my roomate and I had a cat. If we left for the weekend she would be alone. As soon as one of us would walk in the door on Sunday night she would go to the top of the stairs of our loft and meow so loud at us and then proceed to throw up onto the floor below!!! Didn't take us long to learn NOT to leave her alone for long! It was pretty funny!

I am wearing a black short cocktail dress to the semi-formal night. I don't think I could fit another long gown in my suitcase!

Bonnie I did have an alternative plan - Venises sister is a petsitter and has sat for other peoples cats at work and they have been very happy with her service. She doesn't dog sit. I hope my 9 month old husky "Dodger" survives my vacation

Lori- First I have to say, You scared me to death!!! I was reading through the old posts annd saw the Ghost Web Cam.... Need I say more? Almost didn't make the cruise due to a heart attack! I have the best strapless longline bra. As long as you have a good one of those and the top of the dress is tight enough you'll be fine. This bra is too funny though I can shake back and forth and everything else stays right where it is syin' "Hey we're 16 again!"


Jeanne if I decide to wear the jumpsuit you're welcome to the stripe gown. I hate to see it go to waste. small enough to pack though.

Diana-too funny with your cat. Mine is such a love until she is not in her own environment. I was serious when I talked about the shoulder length leather gloves. They hate her at the vet.

How do they get all those videos for "Funniest Home Videos"? It is when women wear strapless gowns to formal affairs!

It is time to start making a list of what is still needed to obtain for the cruise and see if it is all going to fit into the suitcases.

I don't have to tell Disney Dudette #1 that I am getting VERY EXCITED because she knows how I get.

I just read live from the magic that they are going on a mystery cruise because of Lili. Tomorrow they will be at Castaway Cay instead of Key West. I would love to go on a mystery cruise as long as it wasn't too rough.
