Hi All,

I have just recieved my confirmation and will be joining you all on the October 19th cruise!!!

I am travelling alone and it will be my first ever Disney Cruise (well my first ever cruise full stop to be honest!) So if anyone has any great crusing tips for a first timer please tell me.

I just can't wait and it is so soon.

Also what is all this about wearing green??? I'm sure I read it somewhere in this post.

Wow, are you lucky to be traveling with us! That is if you are just a little zany!
Here is the scoop: Lime Green-that is the color that Dis'ers (those who frequent these boards) use to identify themselves. Actually it is supposed to be a ribbon but we go a little overboard. OOPS-shouldn't say it that way on a cruise!
We are planning a Sailaway get-together deck 10 forward at 5PM on Saturday the 19th. Sunday at 2PM we plan on having a wine tasting party on the deck 7 secret veranda -I don't remeber if it is front or back. Bring your own wine for tasting. If interested email your info name, cabin # (if you dare!) etc.

THe dudettes are 3 women who travel to Disney annually (at least). Are you late seating dinner or early seating?

I can't believe you are doing it alone! More power to you! YOu couldn't have hooked up with a better bunch of people. I don't think we are a very sedate group. Ask any questions will try to answer all!

Sorry I haven't reposted sooner i've been having great fun with AOL

disneydudette1 i'm am at the second/late seating for dinner. I didn't really get any choice for this as the first one was full when I booked, but I think I prefer the second anyway.

Well, just 19 days to go I can't believe it! You'll soon work out why I always book my vactions so late. I just can't stand the wait between booking and going. I just so excited!

I have a couple of question that i'm hoping someone can help me with...

Shore excursions - Is it worth me booking some of these? Which ones do you think are best? I thought the Lagoon Kayaking Tour at St Maarten looked good.

Palo - I don't really want to miss any of the rotational dinners on board so I'm thinking I should do the Champagne Brunch at Palo's, what do you think?

Also, Did any of you book through Dreams Unlimited? I noticed that there are now 7 families booked on the cruise through them and if we can get 1 more, then everyone will get the gift! (I'm keeping my fingers crossed!)

Darren: Palo's is wonderful for any meal. I looked at Dave's site for menu's and decided which meal I would like the least and that's the night I will book Palo.

We watched our video from last year. We can't wait! I am listening to my Disney music, waiting for my horn to toot! By the way, we also have the monorail wav as our on and off for the windows. "Please stand clear of the doors...." The DVC logo is our wallpaper and the curser is a Mickey glove. It turns into 2 Mickey icons when it is waiting. Too bad we don't like Disney.

Finally I get a chance to post! I have been busy all morning
taking computer based training on California, Texas and Florida.
I am about Insuranced out!!

We leave in 10 days. Woooo Hoooo!!! I am taking care of loose ends seems they are endless. Yesterday I got the great idea to clean and organize my craft room. Yikes what a lot of work. Guess I will be finishing that inbetween all the other things I need to take care of!

Welcome Darren! I think you will thoroughly enjoy yourself. We booked throught Dreams and I believe Krista did. Last January we did get the free gift. The munchies weren't spectacular but I loved the box they came in. How did you find out how many booked through them? Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. Am having a wonderful day. I just bought some dixie dessert paper plates for the munchies at the wine tasting. Thought that we should have something. Everyone can bring their own glasses from their room. I still have to go out and buy the wine. That seems to be the final purchase for some reason.
