If you happen to miss out at 7am and want to try again at noon, you will need to have scanned into the park in the morning.

Guessing you're planning to go regardless, but always good info to know

It will be interesting to see how today goes, as it is the first day that they will be open until 9 rather than 7, so 12 hour park day. We'll see if they extend the hours of the attraction or if they continue to run it like it ends at 7.

I missed the morning 7 am ROTR but will be trying the 12 pm. Hopefully the ride does well today and the 9 pm leads to a lot of groups.

Tried at 10 seconds after 7, attempting to get a later boarding group -- failed
It was close: one device showed the join button (then error), other device went directly to "distribution complete" screen.

Experiment yesterday using the same timing resulted in group 78. I realize now 78 is a very high number (last of 7AM distribution?), and should have reduced the delay today.

Thanks for that data point - I figure the last of the 7AM is around 75-80 now.

if i miss the morning distribution, and have to try in the park, i will only have one phone to use. am i correct in assuming using one phone with time.gov on the browser and then timing myself with switching to the disneyland app would also be a reasonable method?

not trying to ask a dumb question, just wanting to make sure there isn't something else i should try.
