So a long time ago I left you having just narrowly escaped Barnetta Fife's interrogation. We got water, cereal, waffles, goldfish, and gatorade from wigd and shocker. Said our goodbyes and headed back to the hotel. I must pause to tell you guys that when we left the Hampton to head to Downtown Brooklynn asked where was the bus? So when we pull back in to the hotel she looks around and says "What is this place?" We remind her we aren't checking into Pop until tomorrow. We all go to bed and then in the morning we take advantage of the continental breakfast. John, MeMom, the girls, and I all make an early run to Walmart for supplies and then come back load the van and head toward Disney property.

We were in front and the boys were following.

Bella took her morning nap with a makeshift tent around her since the sun was so bright.

We could see the Characters in Flight balloon.

There was a lot of traffic coming out from under the big archway so I hoped that was a good sign.

Headed in!

Next right!

We parked and headed inside to check in.

Where would we be? Would our room be ready?

We were in the fifties Tramp building on the 3rd floor. And Yes our rooms were ready. So we drove to the parking lot while MeMom and Drew moved to the concierge line to get Drew's ticket.

I am due March 30th and having a girl (we have a soon to be 4 year old girl). I already posted so you may have replied already, but are you in Nashville? I am in Murfreesboro.

I am in Nashville, technically Mt Juliet We are VERY close to the Davidson Co line.

Sorry it took me so long to answer....I tried to do it the other night and something was crazy with the boards

And for the kiddo I will be about 1 month behind you and we are having a BOY! So excited!!

We're always up for a Nashville meet.

She called and told me she had gotten us to Pop. I was happy to get here and find the pictures. I told her she could feel free to do that every morning!


I had been looking so forward to seeing this lovely tree again.

We never know if Drew is really coming with us, so we just buy his tickets each time. This year, it looks like it would have been best to go ahead and get him an AP, too.

After Drew and I got his ticket, we made our way out for our first glimpse of the Hippy Dippy Pool area. Walking out there always makes me happy!

He will never admit it, because he's not a baby kind of guy, but he thinks she's pretty cute.

We were quite happy with that location!

Glad you made it to POP! Drew took some cute pictures of Bella, but my favorite Bella picture has to be the one of her sleeping in her little "tent" in the car. She just looks so peaceful!

Can't wait to see the shopping pictures!

I am just about to book a summer trip for my family. We were debating hotels-POP or POR. Since we are family of 5 we have to get 2 rooms at POP, but it is only a little more expensive. I have stayed there before, but the rest of my family has not. My kids really want to stay there, so I think that's the route we'll go. I think the extra bathroom and extra space will be helpful, too! (Has anyone stayed there during free dining before? Is it really crazy busy? Our dates will fall under free dining time I think-if they offer it this year. I am really concerned about the crowds.)

I laughed out loud when I read that Brooklyn said, "What is this place?" She knew it wasn't one of her beloved Disney hotels!

Bella, both asleep and awake, is so precious!!! Drew takes great pictures!

Yea you got to POP. We will be there in 10 days!!! Trying to decide whether to request top floor or 1st floor and what building. I know you are not guaranteed to get anything particular but I like to ask. 1st woud be better for stroller etc. top would be better for noise. hmm. Love that hotel! Anything you missed doing, buying or taking pics of you would like me to take care of?

Came in here a bit late, i'm only on page 19 looking at the pics of the Wilderness Lodge. As of today we are 30 days away from checking in there for David's 18th birthday. We can't wait. Hopefully i'll be caught up soon, see you on again on the last pages

It was nice to see you guys going under the archway today since that's what I'll be doing in exactly one month Whoa that was weird. A Disney commercial just came on TV right after I typed that Time to play the "one month from now" game One month from now I'll probably be at MK. If not I'll still be at WL. Either one sounds good to me right now

We've been at POP during free dining (Sept.) for 4 or 5 years now. It's not nearly as crowded then as it is when we've been just about any other time (except maybe January) Actually it didn't seem crowded at all. Even on the times we've been at POP during busy periods, it never really seems that crowded to me. It's a large resort! The food court does get pretty crowded during peak times but that's been true at most of the resorts where we have stayed. The bus service has always been fantastic for us.
