DCL celing bed?

Are those ceiling beds acceptable for an adult?

not that it is the same at all, but I slept on the top bunk as a full grown adult on a Royal ship

Depends on the size of the adult. Weight limit is 220lbs and I would not recommend them for anyone taller than 5'6"

Definitely less than 220 but like 5'9 maybe. I'll probably need to upgrade our cabin.

DH has slept on the ceiling bunk with no issues and he's 5 10. I will admit I was a little nervous sleeping under that, LOL, but I just kept reminding myself he is well under the weight limit.

My son is currently 5' 9" and now prefers the couch to the bunk.

I am 5'4" and I slept in the top bunk no problem. My child slept up there when they were 5'7" but when they grew a couple more inches, they were more comfortable on the sofa bed.
