Ringing in 2010, 6 months til we'll be back again

We are looking at September as well. No details set though, so I haven't said much of anything about it. If it does happen it would be 9 nights and a bit before and after September 16th.

September 16th is a scheduled shuttle launch at Kennedy Space Center. Sometimes they move them a few days before/after, so we want to make sure all possible days are covered so Joe can go see it! :goodvibes

Thanks for the info on the launch, DH is a HUGE shuttle fan and would LOVE to see it. But I know when we were that Dec 08 there was supposed to be a launch and it got postponed to January so I won't get his hopes up.

We are going that week since Sept 13th is my birthday and I want to celebrate with Pooh & friends at Crystal Palace. We have already been to WDW for DH, DD and DS's bday so it is finally my turn.

Yay, it's mom's time to celebrate! :yay::woohoo:

Ah, a birthday at CP! :cloud9: Love that idea! Are you doing the breakfast?

September is a very nice time to go too, low crowds, beautiful weather.

Here is the list of shuttle launches: http://www.nasa.gov/missions/highlights/schedule.html We will probably be going to Titusville on the day of so he can see it closer up. There is a bus from WDW, but it costs over $100 PER PERSON! So...we'll be renting a car!

Hope that works out for you guys.

Did you ever get anyone to take a new box down for the fridge? It was in bad, bad shape. I'm not sure it qualified to be a box anymore. It was more like a grocery bag.

We are trying to get one of the next swappers that are driving to bring us a new one. I didnt' realize it was that bad until i recently saw pics. I am not sure how much longer the swap will last sine we have a 5 week opening in March-April and LS seems to be "losing" a lot of fridges lately. :confused3

Yay, it's mom's time to celebrate! :yay::woohoo:

Thanks, planning this trip is one of the few things that is getting me through the dreary winter in CT, today is the first day since before Christmas that we are above 30F. BRRRRR....

I am REALLY hoping for a Sept trip, but the hubby keeps telling me to keep on dreaming - so I am. :cloud9:

If not Sept, he's talking Jan/Feb. That's way too far away for my liking!

Yes, we are planning on CP for breakfast before park opening and Calf. Grill for dinner to watch Wishes. pixiedust: 2 months from today I can make my ADRs so that is what I am planning anyway. The rule has been your day, your plan. I get to pick all the meals and the park(s) to visit on my bday. :woohoo:

I will give link to DH, he said last time that he wouldn't leave WDW to see it but not sure this time.

Wow what a little peanut Bella is. Like they always say; good things come in small packages.
Mall of America is a VERY long drive, probably more then 24 hours.
I bet you must be glad it's a friday. Do you have a long weekend? The kids had a half day today, Martin Luther King day on Monday, and teacher planning on Tuesday.:goodvibes

That sounds like a WONDERFUL day!!! Ahhh, very, very nice. I love the idea of "your day, your plans" too. :thumbsup2

If your DH wants to ride along with a couple strangers he will probably fit in the rental car with us and DS!

Moparop-Your kids are darling! Aileen is beautiful!

All caught up! A trip to Mall of America sound like so much fun!

I would LOVE to join in the all girls trip to Mall of America but....it's 20+ hours away...:sad2:

I could go visit my sister in London and then pick up sunny_stace and go from there.

Then again, I could just drive the 25hrs to WDW when you are there! ;)

Mall of America or WDW? Both are very apealing! :thumbsup2

I can't believe you are going to loose both of your Disney Stores.

Soon there won't be any left. :upsidedow

Memom how can you pass up a $73 flight?
I could only dream of that kind of deal.

Come on down and visit anytime my dear! We could have a good old fashioned road trip! And some fabulous shopping with MeMom!

I'm being nosy, but where outside of Indy? I live about 35 minutes northeast of Indy myself.

Oh cool! They're in Noblesville now but used to be in Colombus. Where are you?

Nope Brooklynn was an average baby and then at about 18 months she started growing and has remained in the 95th-98th percentile in height. She is several inches taller than all the kids in her class.

I used to be one of the tallest in my class. Through all of elementary school and most of middle school I was taller than everyone...then the boys in my grade started growing  They're all taller than me now. I stopped getting taller in 8th grade. I'm stuck at 5'4" :rotfl:

We've never tried Crystal Palace breakfast, but we do love the dinner. I know Janet will get us some good pictures. :thumbsup2

Well, it was nice while it lasted.

I don't see how you guys take the extended cold. We were back up around 50 today, and it felt wonderful.

Tell Aileen to smile pretty at Daddy. :cutie: She needs to make her first trip.

And you don't charge a hundred dollars a ride, right?!?!? :goodvibes

Your Hannah and Owen Christmas pictures were fun to see, Ms. Elf. :santa:

It does seem like a lot of people could make it to a meet there, if the timing is right.

Girls outgrow the boys in some of those middle years, but then the boys catch up and surpass them. We're all fairly tall around here - 5'8" or so and up.

We are pretty much hobbits here. Charles is 5'9" but I am only 5'2". Poor Chelsea and Connor don't stand a chance. Although my brother somehow ended up over 6" tall. Don't know how that happened.

hee hee CP check out the irony in your typo :rotfl2:

Meanwhile I was just checking in to see if anyone was possibly taking and early stroll around a resort :rolleyes1 because what else is there to do but Dis on a Friday night of a 3 day weekend :lmao:

Connor will be big enough to be picking you up and swinging you around in a very short time.

I saw it, too. At 6 inches, he's a beast, huh?

We love ya, CP!

I am still waiting for the Alabama folks to put the pictures on photobucket. The first two cards were put on their laptop and then cleared, so I have to wait for them. As soon as they get on, we'll be walking...I promise!

A 6 inch hobbit brother makes me giggle out loud!

I do have some nerve though as my posts are usually riddled with typos! My brain works faster than I can type sometimes - I swear.

No worries- the longer your TR takes the better! Like I said before, it keeps us "Disney tickerless" folks happy!

Me, too. My n sticks a lot, and so do a few other letters, so there is no telling what I have said on some of mine. CP's is just funny because of the context of the post.

Katie and I were actually discussing height a couple of nights ago. My dad is the youngest of six and the tallest -- he's six feet. I don't think anyone else topped 5'6". Charles is pretty tall; he's 6'5", which makes him exactly a foot taller than me. He wondered one time where he got his height from, but I pointed out that his mom is 5'10". He never thought of her as being tall. :rotfl:
