Rooms were ready! Woot! That's always nice. I really have a fondness for Pop as it's the first Disney hotel we ever have stayed in. I also really like its price, compared to mods and deluxes. LOL! I love the pictures that Drew took of Bella! I bet he does find her pretty adorable and I would agree with him!

Nope Brooklynn was an average baby and then at about 18 months she started growing and has remained in the 95th-98th percentile in height. She is several inches taller than all the kids in her class.

Caleb is really tall for his age too! We were with friends for new years day that son is 4 days younger than caleb...and Caleb looked like a monster compared to this kid...you would never guess they were only 4 days apart...you would guess 6 months or more! Caleb has been hitting the 90th % for height the whole time! He will be tall like his daddy!

Caught up! Those Bella pics are beautiful! I just love Pop Century. It was on the table for David's birthday trip (It was my choice believe it or not!) But it's his birthday, and he wanted Wilderness Lodge. As long as he doesn't care making up the difference (He didn't!) But I do miss Pop!

If you walked right down our walkway to the corner, this is what you saw.

We were quite happy with that location!

Yeah for a great start! It is wonderful when the room is ready and that you were happy with the location. Bella just looks so sweet in all of her pictures- I love the "Sleeping Beauty/Bella" car seat pic and the ones on the balcony! Looking forward to the shopping pics.

Too funny about Brooklynn being unsure of the hotel. Bella is so cute in her little tent.

We were pleasantly surprised that both rooms were ready at such a busy time.

No bus, no big icons...Brooklynn was in unfamiliar territory.

Now I have stayed in these buildings: Jukebox, Tramp, Play Doh, Mickey Phone, Big Wheel, Roger Rabbit, and Computer. I just have a few more to cover. I kind of like the 50's/60's side better, but I just like being there anywhere.


It could possibly MeMom. Only time will tell.

Glad you made it to POP! Drew took some cute pictures of Bella, but my favorite Bella picture has to be the one of her sleeping in her little "tent" in the car. She just looks so peaceful!

I am just about to book a summer trip for my family. We were debating hotels-POP or POR. Since we are family of 5 we have to get 2 rooms at POP, but it is only a little more expensive. I have stayed there before, but the rest of my family has not. My kids really want to stay there, so I think that's the route we'll go. I think the extra bathroom and extra space will be helpful, too! (Has anyone stayed there during free dining before? Is it really crazy busy? Our dates will fall under free dining time I think-if they offer it this year. I am really concerned about the crowds.)

Your pictures are getting me even more excited!

The space and two tubs, sinks, and toilets - I'd go for Pop.

Sweet little Bella. She was trying to turn around and see us, but she had to hold on to the railing. She's going to let go any time now and toddle those first steps.

I did see it. I have to borrow Brooklynn's and make some toast myself.

The towels/washcloths are nice little souvenirs. We have several. The one that is in the bathroom today is Toy Story.

I laughed out loud when I read that Brooklyn said, "What is this place?" She knew it wasn't one of her beloved Disney hotels!

Bella, both asleep and awake, is so precious!!! Drew takes great pictures!

Yeay for the Hippy Dippy Pool and Pop! Now the fun can really begin!!!

I wish I had been filming her. Her expression was so funny.

I can't wait to see my precious girl in just a little while. They went to a birthday party today, so they're on their way now.

Yea you got to POP. We will be there in 10 days!!! Trying to decide whether to request top floor or 1st floor and what building. I know you are not guaranteed to get anything particular but I like to ask. 1st woud be better for stroller etc. top would be better for noise. hmm. Love that hotel! It was nice to see you guys going under the archway today since that's what I'll be doing in exactly one month Whoa that was weird. A Disney commercial just came on TV right after I typed that Time to play the "one month from now" game One month from now I'll probably be at MK. If not I'll still be at WL. Either one sounds good to me right now

Anywhere in Disney World is good.

We've been at POP during free dining (Sept.) for 4 or 5 years now. It's not nearly as crowded then as it is when we've been just about any other time (except maybe January) Actually it didn't seem crowded at all. Even on the times we've been at POP during busy periods, it never really seems that crowded to me. It's a large resort! The food court does get pretty crowded during peak times but that's been true at most of the resorts where we have stayed. The bus service has always been fantastic for us.

It's nice to hear from someone who has experience in the free dining times.
I'm like you about Pop. The pools get busy, but that's to be expected, and the food court is best at off times, but there are thousands of people there, and there are many times you can walk around and see very few.

I think that's why I love Pop so much. It was my first on-site stay, and it was with just me and my three kids. We bonded in a big way on that trip, and our Disney fever was sent into high gear.

Wilderness Lodge is your home, and it's a great choice. It may be my home some year down the road, but I'll always plan visits to Pop, too.
