Ringing in 2010, 6 months til we'll be back again

We will be at Disney from June 18-June 25, so we will miss you. We are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary on the 22nd of June. We went to Disney on our honeymoon.

Love the pictures of Bella on the walkway! She's such a cutie!

She was sure happy to be out of her car seat.
Thanks. We sure think she's a cutie. :cutie:

The pictures of Bella are just beautiful! I can't wait to go shopping! :woohoo:

Get a good night's sleep before our shopping trip tomorrow. :)

Love the pictures of Bella, well I love all your pictures. :goodvibes I am looking forward to seeing all the pictures from your trip. The past couple of days I have not been feeling well so it is nice to come on the Dis and look at your pictures and make me forget how I feel for a time. I am looking forward to going "shopping". Have a great family night.

I hope we can help cheer you up and make you feel better.
I'm not a doctor, and I don't even play one on TV, but a decent Disney picture can do wonders for your spirits. :goodvibes

POP looks like so much fun! Hilarious about Brooklyn wondering where you all were staying till you checked in...lol! She definitely knows her Disney! Bella is so cute and happy....she is so lucky to be in Disney with you guys! Glad Drew got such great shots! Can't wait to hear more!!! :cool1:

At the Hampton, I had a pool view, sort of, and they did not. (They weren't able to give us connecting rooms.) The only thing Brooklynn was excited about there was that you could see the pool from my room. The adults were pretty happy about the FREE breakfast. :thumbsup2

**************************

Here are a few pictures from tonight. Jarvis came by earlier in the day, and it happened to be right as I was pulling in the driveway coming from Kroger. He helped me unload groceries, so of course I invited him to dinner.

Later I saw that one of our cousins was checking in on their Facebook from the movies in our city, so I wrote and told them to come by afterward. They texted back and asked if I was serious, and of course I was, so they came, too.

Trent's friend, Jamie, was also here, and Drew was home before he went to the movies with a friend, so it was a lively place.

We had a tiny bit of a winter theme.

Brooklynn, Carson, Parker, and their friends Booze and Wuudy played with the kitchen stuff.

Jill disrobed Bella so she could eat. This is Jamie holding her.

When I was at Michael's today, I bought a gingerbread house kit for two dollars, thinking Brooklynn would enjoy putting it together.

First, it had to be assembled.
That took several girls, a lot of frosting, and a photographer.

Brooklynn waited patiently for the house to be ready for decorating.

John went into construction mode. If he had put it together, it would have been a fifteen story high-rise.

The kids enjoyed decorating.

The men watched football.

Sloan is so good with kids. He loved holding Bella.

The finished product, despite Brooklynn looking very carefully at the picture on the box, looked nothing like the picture on the box.

It was wonderful, however, as we love the little hands that decorated it. We had a good evening with good food and much laughter.

Love your little bit of a winter theme!

How fun to put together a gingerbread house! I bet the big girls and Brooklyn had fun doing that!

What was for dinner?

Awww!! It looks like ya'll had a great evening!! And I just LOVE the Jim Shore Mickey/Minnie snowman figurine!! Sooo cute!! :goodvibes

I LOVE the pictures that Drew took of Bella. He sounds a lot like my brother when it comes to little kids. :rotfl:

Seeing the pictures of the sign and Pop made me SO excited! It's really hard to believe how close we're getting.

Sounds like a great night of family fun. The best kind of night.

It was. This house is pretty quiet most of the time, and that is nice, but it's also nice to have times of complete chaos with little boys belly-crawling under the chairs, a Nemo bucket filled with Princesses on the floor, etc.

I didn't even take one food picture! :sad2: We had chicken, baked potatoes, vegetables, bread, salad, pecan pie, and apple pie.

Yum dinner, we forgot to have it.....
Well, Baylor had soup.
Looks like a fun evening.
Cute girls at your house. Trent's friend included!;)

Love the winter theme. Very appropriate here lately. My mom gave my DD that same gingerbread house. Boy did we make a mess with it. Ours looked nothing like the picture on the box either.;)

How long is the drive between you and Jill? I'm amazed that she gets to come over so often since you live in different states. I know you are so thankful that they aren't too far away.

Great arrival update. Bella is so cute and Drew is a great photographer. Looks like a fun family night.

Looks like you had a fun night!

I like Brooklynn's gingerbread house :)

Last night I had a dream that I was going to see Kazin today. I was very disappointed when I woke up and realized that it was just a dream :sad2: I miss my little buddy! But I'll probably see him some time this week :)

We did have fun. We had some good laughter, and it always makes you feel good to laugh hard.

I love my little Mickey/Minnie snowman piece. I had it out at Christmas, but decided after putting up all the red and green and Christmas tree, etc. that this piece would still be appropriate to keep out through the winter.

Seeing the pictures of the sign and Pop made me SO excited! It's really hard to believe how close we're getting.

He is not a kid person. When they're babies, he uses the excuse that they're babies. When they're older, he comes up with a new excuse. He's coming around ever so slowly, though. He's paid more attention to Bella than I ever thought he would. She grins at him, and there is no way he can resist grinning back.

There is something very exciting about that big old POP sign! :dance3:

Yum!!! It's a rainy night here -- a slice of apple pie and a slice of pecan pie would be great!!!

There's plenty left. Come on up!

It was cold and rainy here last night, too.

Yum dinner, we forgot to have it.....

I need to forget to have supper a few nights. Ever since the knee surgery, I have packed on the pounds. I have got to get out and walk more and quit eating pecan pie and apple pie.

I'm glad Baylor is feeling better and can eat. It's good that he has a long weekend to get his full strength back before facing school.

Trent's friend belongs to a Diser. ;)

I thought for 2 bucks it would be fun for Brooklynn. It was nice that she had help from Carson and Parker.

She lives less than two hours away, so it's not too bad for us to get to see each other fairly often. We both wish we were closer, though, so that she could bring the girls over while she runs errands or just cleans house or has time to herself. All of her church friends have families close by who are able to do that. I wish I could be down there for her, but I have to have this job. It would not be a good thing to have to start over down there. They can't move up here because John has his 'specialty' job there. The closest they could move would be Clarksville, which is about 45 minutes away.

Great arrival update. Bella is so cute and Drew is a great photographer. Looks like a fun family night.

We're at Pop, settled into the rooms, and the fun is about to begin! :yay:

Maybe Drew will use some pictures of the girls in his portfolio as he tries to get a job in that field.

That would be a disappointing dream for me, too - thinking the girls were coming and then waking up to a normal day. :upsidedow

We had a fun night. The kids were tired at the end, and the adults were ready to turn in, as well.

Looks like you had a fun night! Sometimes those impromptu get-togethers end up being the most fun! :thumbsup2

Nice arrival pictures of Pop , thinking about staying here on our next trip :) Drew's pictures of Bella on the walkway are just beautiful ! Love the winter theme of your dinner get together , you guys always have the cutest little theme parties , they look like so much fun !

I swear, your family is so much fun! I would love it if mine would gather up to decorate gingerbread houses! Ours wouldn't look like the one on the box either! And I love Drew's pictures of Bella! She is such a sweet girl! I love Brooklyn's reaction to a non-Disney hotel too! She is a true Disney girl! Very cute! Can't wait for shopping!

I live in Anderson, which isn't too far from Noblesville.

Oh, we drive right through on the way there! Infact, I think that's where my cousin is teaching now!

What a fun evening! I love nights where you go from having a small meal to having 20 people over. It is probably the thing I miss most about living here in Cincy. Of course, Ryan is from a small family and having EVERYONE together is 12 people so he found those parties rather overwhelming. Silly guy!

The gingerbread house came out great! We did our first one with the boys this year and they had a ball. Ryan was much like John and had his own plan of how it was going to look until I reminded him that this was not his project. I think next year he'll be buying a second house to do his own way. ;)

Your night looked like so much fun. The girls just keep getting cuter every picture. Trents friend seems to fit right in I hope they are having fun getting to know each other :)
