Same here, I never tried putting up my arms and won't tried it.
I always control myself if ever we are in rides but sometimes can't.

I'm a larger busted lady (and polite too - think of all the things I could have said) and I find space mountain very unconfortable.
I tend to ride with my arms accross my chest. Its either that or 2 black eyes!
I have to admit that I never have understood why anyone puts their hands up. What does it do that just sitting there doesn't do? If you aren't holding onto anything it shouldn't have any different result, hands up or hands down. Is it a show of courage? If it is, I don't get it.
Oh well, I'm old and never cared much for roller coasters anyway.
