When I was a kid - Frito Lay came out with that "Bet you can't eat just one" ad campaign. Well, I ate just one. And wrote to the company. Would you believe I got a letter back! It was from one of the regional managers of the company. Congratulated me for being one of the very few people in the country who could resist the great taste of Lays potato chips. My Mom saved the letter!

Morning all!!!! We had a beautiful drive in... okay sarcasm here! We had some snow on the ground from yesterday, some icy spots and dense fog. I think I need to go to that place in Hawaii right now

Okay I will admit to my stupidity with US history. Truthfully I had NO idea that it really happened until this morning (didn't get a chance to find the thread yesterday afternoon to read that). I guess there is a reason why I avoided US history in college

We have a delayed opening, today....I am gritting my teeth....one more hour of Yu-Gi-Oh and I'm going to commit Hari Kari.

I got this one right off the bat. Thanks for the pants, Bro.

No school again here today, and I am wondering about Friday. Two districts have already said they would be closed. There is just no place to get rid of all the snow. At least the school board has gotten into the habit of announcing the afternoon ahead so kids don't have to get up and stay home. My 2 are still asleep.

I feel a bit of a sore throat this morning too. I am going to try to drink plenty of fuids (insert joke here) and not catch this cold.

Yes, that pool party is going to be something else, just don't know quite what.

I would love to get to Hawaii someday. Maybe we will.
