Same with us, Breezy. They've been announcing the morning or afternoon before. We did get a call late yesterday afternoon about the delayed opening. I guess they just don't know where to put the snow. It's going to be a nightmare getting DS to school these next few days. Especially if we get the rain they're predicting!

Take care of yourself, Bern. I am off to try and do dogs without having them wake up DH. He had to go in to work at midnight last night for a T-1 phone line cut over. The phone company screwed up, and it didn't happen. He was not a happy camper when he got home at 2:30 am! He has a 9:00 meeting this morning, so I will try to keep the dogs quiet until he has to get up.

PANTS...yeaaaa, I got pants!!!!!!

Big day today at Norah's school...SCIENCE FAIR day....since we live a few minutes from Woods Hole and the best marine science institutions, we have some great judges. dave caters the judges dinner for 150 at the school, Abigail and Bob help out.
This is the first time in seven years that I dont have to go. Seniors dont have to do a project so I didnt have radishes growing in my laundry room or compost "cooking" in the dining room, or baking compost in the oven this year.

But it's a big day and I'll probably stop by during the viewing...but then again, maybe I wont.

Good morning all! Yay! I have pants already!!!! I took one look at yesterday's riddle and figured that I might as well go back to bed since it was US history. The thing that gets me is that about 2am a possible answer came to me, and it turns out it was right! I just had no idea who it was.

Take care of yourself Bernie! You certainly have my sympathy since I've been fighting the same thing for the past couple of days. Naps do seem to help though. Unfortunately for me, I have to work today, but thankfully it's a short shift. You might want to try ecchinacea too.
Congrats on the game last night! It sounds like an exciting one!

I hope to go back to Hawaii some time with Len and the kids. I was in Oahu almost 30 years ago with my parents and an aunt and just loved it! Absolutely perfect weather there. Mid 70's every day, with just a light shower in the afternoon to wash the dust off the plants. Ahhh! Heaven!

Good morning everyone! Got the riddle right away today... even before the first sip of coffee. I think it is because I am not going in to work until after lunch and so my brain registered this fact and kicked into overdrive so I would be all brain mushy by the time I DO go in to work... wouldn't want to break from the normal tradition! LOL!

DH has his follow up doctor appointment today to remove the stint. He will be taking pain meds before hand and thus cannot drive himself... so I am pulling chauffeur duty this morning.

Gail - those are charming pictures! But then I have seen you before in your picture that I put on my DIS CON buddy pin! You are very photogenic!

Hawaii sounds really great right now. But I have to confess... I am having a WDW withdrawal thing going on lately... no plans in the works this year and feeling kind of bummed as a result. It's just not right! I am consoling myself that RIDDLECON IS in the works and I am very much looking forward to that.

Good Morning everyone! I figured out today's answer and the clues comfirmed it. I must admit that I had to do some research on American Presidents, before coming up with yesterday's answer.

Congrats on your soccer game, Bernie. Hope you feel better soon.

We are saving up our air miles, hopefully for a return trip to Hawaii, just Dh and I. I think the Big Island was our favourite and I hope to see it again one day, plus I still haven't seen Kauai. I still can't believe we flew all that way with two babies ~ Dan went at 11 mos, 23 mos and twice at 3yrs when we then had Tim who was 7 mos and 15 mos. I have fond memories and a ton of pictures and videos of those trips but I'd love to go back and experience it all again without kids.

The sun is shining here today and 2 weeks today, I'll be on my way to WDW!

Hooray for caffine! The answer came as I was driving into the office! I guess it would have come sooner, but thanks to my friend Stephanie, we have been drinking a custom blend of half decaf, so it kicks in a little more slowly. Now I am ready!

Good Morning everyone!!!!!

Hope most of your snow is melting and that you all don't get much flooding with it. It was so wonderful here yesterday in the mid 40's - went home and opened the doors and Candi loved it!!!! She couldnt' decide which door to look out. She's so funny and she snuck out for the first time....scared me to death!!! Got her before she could get under the bushes and the bay window - YIKES!

I took a guess and PM'd OK but I don't think I'm right. I do have to admit also that I did a little research before I PM my answer to yesterday's riddle. I just don't remember the President's that far back.

Hope everyone is well today and has a good day. Good luck to your dh and you today Dreamer - hope it goes well. Gonna be a boring day for me today - have a secretary out sick in our career area and I have to staff it most of the day - UGH!
