Hi...this is the response I received regarding the disney parade....
It talks about educational programming....patriots all access (ne patriots talk show) was on at 10:00 and I don't remember what was on at 11:00.

Dear Stacy, We greatly regret your disappointment that the Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade did not air at the time originally listed. Unfortunately, the folks at Disney denied our requests to air the parade in the afternoon, when it would not disrupt our existing schedule of children's programming. In most cases FFCC rules make it difficult for stations to pre-empt children's programming deemed educational and informational for one-time only specials such as the parade. We apologize for the disappointment of you and your family. Best Wishes for a happy and healthy New Year. WCVB Programming

I didn't know patriots all access was childrens programming!!!! :rotfl:

The reference was to a teen news program, which is broadcast every Sunday morning at 11:30 AM.

But they approved of them showing it a 3:05 a.m.? Sounds a little strange, doesn't it?

Interesting how that doesn't seem to hamper NBC from pre-empting weekend morning children's programming at Wimbledon time or other networks (ABC included) from showing the British Open or other golf tournaments originating overseas instead of regular programming.

Not at all. When local programming requires WCVB to pre-empt Desparate Housewives, for example, they aren't permitted to rerun it, say, on Saturday afternoon, but rather have to rerun it only in the overnight hours.

Which program are you talking about? Is it one of NBC's core educational programs, like Teen Kid News is at ABC? As far as I can see, NBC broadcasts their allotment at 7:00 AM. Breakfast as Wimbledon typically starts at 9:00 AM.
