**Request to REDUCE the 40 second wait time between posts**

The 40 second rule is frustrating to many of us. Post a comment on the thread link provided. Let the techs know that a 20 second delay would be more reasonable.

It used to be 60 seconds. I think 40 seconds is more than enough. I doubt a 'petition type' thread will help. You probably need to take this up directly with one of the admins via email or PM.

AFAIK, the 40 second rule does not affect PMs.

I posted this on your link, but why not first find out the reasons for the 40 second delay. I joke about it a lot and pretend to be very frustrated with it, but before starting a request to have it changed, I would at least want to find out their exact reasons for having it. Then I would decide if I agreed with it or not.

I agree!! This would be stellar! Other sites have shorter wait times (like the 20 sec.) I would like to know why they have such long delays.
