Hi, I am not a DVC member, but I just rented points and plan to continue doing so until I can afford to buy into timeshare. Anyways, my brother has his heart set on staying at Ft. Wilderness Cabins; can I rent points from a member to stay there? I'm just checking now-we won't be traveling for awhile. Thanks for any help!

You would be better off making a reservation through Central reservations. The points for non DVC resorts are ridiculously more than staying at a DVC resort.

I agree with luvindisneyworld - go through CRO for a non-DVC resort. It will be less expensive and you will have more flexible payment and cancellation options.

You'd have to find someone to rent you points well below the going rate to make it financially feasible to rent points for a stay somewhere besides a DVC resort.

Best wishes -

Okay, that's good to know. I thought using points would be cheaper across the board, but I'll go through CRO for this one.
